Sunday in Recoleta neighborhood (ENG/ESP)

Greetings to all #Hive friends! Today I took a tour of the Recoleta neighborhood, as I had mentioned in a previous post.... Buenos Aires is a city where the weather is very unstable, being yesterday a spring day with 23 degrees and today it was completely cloudy and moderately colder. Even so, I decided to go out and walk around this beautiful city.
Saludos a todos amigos de #Hive! Hoy realicé un recorrido por el barrio de Recoleta, como había mencionado en un post anterior... Buenos Aires es una ciudad dónde el clima es muy inestable, siendo ayer un día primaveral con 23 grados y hoy estuvo completamente nublado y moderadamente más frío. Aún así decidí salir y recorrer esta bellísima localidad.
From my location to the Recoleta area I decided to take the subway, even though it is relatively close, it was much more comfortable for me since it was only a few stations, combining with the H line and I got off at the Las Heras station.
Desde mi ubicación hasta la zona de Recoleta decidí trasladarme en el subterráneo apesar de que es relativamente cerca, era mucho más cómodo para mí ya que fueron solo un parte de estaciones, combinación con la línea H y me bajé en la estación Las Heras.
From there I walked about 5 blocks and arrived at what is the attractive tourist area of Recoleta. It is an area with many restaurants, sculptures and monuments where many people decide to go and spend a whole day enjoying what is offered here.
The next sculpture that I show in this post is called "Atlas de Recoleta", it is a monument donated by a Uruguayan sculptor as a tribute to the people who live in this traditional neighborhood that participate to beautify its streets, squares and parks. The sculpture is made with 85% of car parts.
Desde allí camine unas 5 cuadras y llegué a lo que es la zona atractiva en turismo de Recoleta. Es una zona de muchos restaurantes, esculturas y monumentos en dónde muchísimas personas deciden ir y pasar todo un día disfrutando de lo que se ofrece acá.
La siguiente escultura que muestro en este post, se llama "Atlas de Recoleta", es un monumento donado por un escultor Uruguayo con motivo de homenaje a las personas que habitan en este tradicional barrio que participan para embellecer sus calles, plazas y parques. La escultura ésta hecha con partes de autos en un 85%.
Within this small square or park you can enjoy a handicrafts stroll where you can find a number of stalls selling handicrafts, clothing, accessories and other items.
Dentro de esta pequeña plaza o parque se puede disfrutar de un paseo de artesanías en dónde se fijan números puestos para la venta de objetos artesales, indumentaria, accesorios, y otros artículos.
I'm not quite sure but it seems to me that this craft walk is done every Sunday as I don't remember seeing it on a weekday. It seems to me very cultural and quite attractive this type of craft sales events as you can find many things at very good prices. That is also one of the reasons why it is very crowded.
No estoy muy seguro pero me parece que este paseo de las artesanías se hace todos los domingos ya que no recuerdo haberlo visto un día de semana. Me parece muy cultural y bastante atractivo este tipo de eventos de ventas artesanales ya que puedes encontrar muchas cosas a muy buenos precios. Esa es una de las razones también por la que es muy concurrido.
However... There is something in this neighborhood that catches my attention and that catches me every time I visit it and it is the musicians, performers or street dancers that are in every space of the square and its surroundings. It is simply pure art and just today I was shocked admiring this.
Sin embargo... Hay algo en este barrio que me llama muchísimo la atención y que me atrapa cada vez que lo visito y se trata de los músicos, interpretes o bailarines de calle que están en cada espacio de la plaza oñy de sus cercanías. Es simplemente arte puro y precisamente el día de hoy quedé impactado admirando esto.
A couple dancing tango in the middle of the square, makes me feel like I am in another era and the technique with which they dance and their steps are impressive. This is why it is said that Argentina is the Europe of Latin America, it has many things in common apart from its architecture and buildings.
Una pareja bailando tango en medio de la plaza, me hace sentir que estoy en otra época y la técnica con la que emplean en baile y sus pasos sin impresionantes. Es por esto que se dice que Argentina es la Europa de Latinoamérica, tiene muchísimas cosas en común aparte de sus arquitecturas y edificaciones.
Here is a trio of musicians playing different musical instruments, which made an impact on me with the way they played and what they did while doing it. The composition of these three instruments was simply sublime and their songs touched the soul.
Acá un trío de músicos ejecutando diferentes instrumentos musicales, los cuales hicieron que me quedara impactado con la forma de tocar y lo que tramitieron al hacerlo. La composición de estos tres instrumentos fue sencillamente sublime y llegó al alma sus canciones.
Another attraction in this area is the Recoleta cultural center where there are numerous cultural activities and presentations of different artists, art exhibitions, for children and young people who are the most frequent visitors to this cultural recreation center.
Otros atractivos de esta zona es el centro cultural Recoleta dónde se dictan numerosas actividades culturales y presentaciones de distintos artistas, exposiciones de arte, para niños y jóvenes que son los que suelen visitar más a menudo este centro de recreación cultural.
I can't finish the post without mentioning the famous basilica of the pillar, which is open to the public, so those who wish can go individually to visit it or also some prefer a guided tour that is also possible to do so. In a next post we will extend and dedicate an article about this famous architecture as well as the Recoleta cemetery which is very famous and I will also dedicate a separate post.
No puedo terminar el post sin antes mencionar la famosa basílica del pilar, la cual se encuentra abierta al público, así que quienes deseen pueden ir de forma individual a visitarla o también algunos prefieren un tour guiado que también es posible hacerlo. En un próximo post extenderemos y dedicaremos un artículo sobre ésta famosa arquitectura al igual que del cementerio de Recoleta el cual es muy famoso y también dedicaré un post aparte.
