Cu Lao Cham | The pearl in the middle of the East Sea

Located about 15km from the mainland, Cu Lao Cham is a beautiful island with an area of ​​about 15km2 and is home to about 2900 people. This is a must-see destination when coming to Hoi An ancient town, Quang Nam, Vietnam.

There are two ways to get here from Cua Dai beach, Hoi An. One is to go by cargo boat, which costs 40k / person and 1 and 15 minutes, and the other is by high speed cano, which costs 200k and 25 minnutes. I prefer to go by cargo boat, although it is a bit time-consuming but I can bring my motorbike with me and so I can ride it to freely explore the island.

There are many beautiful beaches located around the island where you can easily drive to. Bai Dap is the best spot to watch the sunset, Eo Gio is the best spot to watch the sunrise. While Bai Xep and Bai Bac are the two best beaches to dive for coral, and my advice is you should do that in the morning when the water is clear and quiet.

The people here are very friendly and kind, they always welcome me with smiles. Besides, one more thing you should not miss when you come here is to enjoy seafood. The seafood here is very fresh and especially they are much cheaper than on the mainland.
