Yesterday I Went to Kualanamu International Airport, One of the Biggest Airports in My Country, Indonesia

Hello!
This is my first post in this community. Yesterday, I went somewhere with my father, mother and brother. We went to my local airport to pick up my sister. The name of the airport is Kualanamu International Airport. My sister arrived from Yogyakarta around 7 pm.

Ini adalah postingan pertamaku di komunutas ini. Kemarin, aku pergi ke suatu tempat bersama ayah, ibu, dan abangku. Kami pergi ke bandar udara daerahku untuk menjemput kakakku. Nama bandar udaranya adalah Bandar Udara Internasional Kualanamu. Kakakku tiba dari Yogyakarta sekitar jam 7 malam.

Previously, the airport in my area was Polonia Airport. You could say it's close to my house, if you look at the distance between my house and Kualanamu Airport.

Dulunya, bandara di daerahku adalah Bandar Udara Polonia. Bisa dibilang dekat dari rumahku, kalau memandang jarak antara rumahku dan Bandar Udara Kualanamu.

According to Wikipedia, Kualanamu Airport is the third largest airport in Indonesia (after Soekarno–Hatta Jakarta and the new Kertajati Majalengka International Airport, West Java). The location of this airport is a former plantation area of ​​PT Perkebunan Nusantara II Tanjung Morawa which is located in the Beringin sub-district, Deli Serdang regency, North Sumatra. The construction of this airport is part of the MP3EI, to replace the Polonia International Airport which is more than 85 years old. Kualanamu Airport is expected to become an international transit base airport for the Sumatran and surrounding areas. This airport has been operating since July 25, 2013 even though there are facilities that have not been fully completed.

Menurut Wikipedia, Bandara Kualanamu adalah bandara terbesar ketiga di Indonesia (setelah Soekarno–Hatta Jakarta dan yang baru Bandar Udara Internasional Kertajati Majalengka, Jawa Barat). Lokasi bandara ini merupakan bekas areal perkebunan PT Perkebunan Nusantara II Tanjung Morawa yang terletak di kecamatan Beringin, kabupaten Deli Serdang, Sumatera Utara. Pembangunan bandara ini merupakan bagian dari MP3EI, untuk menggantikan Bandar Udara Internasional Polonia yang telah berusia lebih dari 85 tahun. Bandara Kualanamu diharapkan dapat menjadi bandara pangkalan transit internasional untuk kawasan Sumatra dan sekitarnya. Bandara ini mulai beroperasi sejak 25 Juli 2013 meskipun ada fasilitas yang belum sepenuhnya selesai dikerjakan.
