Blessed day fellow travelers and adventurers of Haveyoubeenhere, I hope you are well, for me it is a pleasure to greet you once again.

This time I am very excited to share with you some pictures of my favorite walk through the parks of the city of Lima.
As I have already told you, this city has many parks and entertainment places to share outdoors.

The largest and most impressive park in the city, it is a zoo with so many attractions and activities that to complete the whole itinerary would take at least two days of walking; that is why I have decided to make this publication in several parts in order to share with you most of the pictures.

This large park is called the Park of Legends. The name is due to some murals in the center of the park that tell six very popular legends of the Peruvian culture. The park is located in the district of San Miguel, far away from the district where I live, so we had to leave very early to be able to take in at least half of the attractions offered by this wonderful place.

The park is divided into several sections which are named after the regions of the country, there are also nurseries, museums, aquariums, squares, mazes and many games and entertainment for children. In this opportunity I will show you some of these places that I have mentioned, the photos of the zoo and the animals will be shared in a future publication.

One of my favorite places in this magical park is the Mariposario, an enclosed place with roofs that allow natural light to pass through, where you can observe many species of butterflies flying around the plants and vines. There is also an exhibition of butterflies of all kinds as a kind of butterfly museum. I sincerely enjoyed the time I spent there among so many beautiful butterflies.

Another place I really enjoyed visiting was the Botanical Garden since I am an eternal lover of flowers and nature in general. The place is like a kind of nursery where you can find different types of ornamental plants as well as plants with medicinal properties. However, we could not stay in there for long because the entrance was for small groups and outside there were several people waiting for us who did not want to miss the opportunity to enter this beautiful garden.

Inside the park there is also a museum called "Museo de la respuesta" which you must enter accompanied by a guide. Another interesting attraction is the food court where you can taste typical Peruvian dishes and some international food. What I enjoyed the most of this outing was walking through the green areas of the park and enjoying nature, I hope to return soon.
