Hello Hiveians

I had a privileged to travel around a Nigerian city for an event and I thought to share my travel experience and some of the beautiful picture of the state with my hive family.

Ondo is a Nigerian state with the capital as Akure, it bears a slogan as the sunshine state, the geography of the state shows a beautiful rock filled place with some rivers, it has a land area of 15,500 km2 (6,000 sq m).

Most of its communities are road settlers and homes, are built along the major road.

The rocks are usually high dark and full of cloud, and one could view it as if the sky is touching the tip of these mountains.

House on the rock

I found an amazing culture where citizens build houses using the abundant big rocks for foundation. One could sight a house afar off on a rock down the slope of the mountain.

It is indeed a beautiful state as the government of the place have their roads well taken care of, the streets are very clean and full of historic images and artifacts .

Agriculture

The soil is rich in Agriculture judging from the abundance of rainfall and the fresh food/fruits and all the vegetative and green farms I saw.
Bananas and plantain are in abundant supply and I could see farmers harvesting very large portions of these from their various farms.

My travel experience

I had an awkward experience on the way as am allergic to petrol and couldn't control nausea or an urge to throw up. I vomited all the way and was very weak upon arrival at the hotel room, I felt out of place and had no much strength left to explore and enjoy the beautiful sight of this great city through my 48 hours of stay.

I hope to visit again at a more convenient time and also explore other beautiful state and cities in Nigerian.

First photograph Upon arrival at the city, weak tired and exhausted from the road experience.

Some beautiful city pictures and the villages with their traditional mud house.
