A trip to Los Almendros Farm Táchira - Venezuela
In general it was a work trip since they hired me, and my colleagues to liven up an important event in this beautiful place: "Hacienda los Almendros", which is locatedbeyond the "La pedrera" sector of the state of Táchira. The meeting point was in my city San Cristobal (where I live) and since we took the road we could start to enjoy beautifulisolation where we were accompanied by the sun, the rain and also the cold.
During the bus ride we could observeextensive journeys full of cattle, trees, plants, riacsmells, food sales, food production, people working, hamlets, artificial pools that producein "cachama"(a fish) and manymore things that made our trip something cozy and fun. Also before traveling we set a kind of uniform where the black color predominated and thus be able to cause a good image when arriving at the hacienda.
The trip lasted about 3 hours and I personally slept a large part of the trip so I could arrive with energy to explore the whole place. WhenI arrived I was very hungry since it was approximately 3:30 in the afternoon, therefore, we were received and attended by the personl of the hacienda who were just preparing a rich welcome lunch.
After eating a rich fried pescado, we rested for a while and asked one of the employees to take us to know some exotic animals that lived in the place, therefore, a young man took us to meet a "cunaguaro", a "capuchin monkey" called "Rebecca", a "donkey",some "macaws"somewhat extroverted since they watched and annoyed all the people in the dining room to steal some food. In addition to this, hubo other animals that we could not know, such as the"anaconda" since during theseason they are not allowedto be seen by hunting.
After admiring these animals I had the opportunity to walk around other sides of the hacienda and observe a totally spectacular landscape, thanks to its 1800 hectares and, in addition, to its country style architecture that also works as an inn, place of recreation and many more things. Even though we were super far from the city we had no problem with the internet as the place has an advanced connection system that allowed us to stay connected and active on social media.
Finally the sunset arrived and we all enjoyed a spectacular sky on the edge of the pee, which hourafter would also be a place of entertainment for all my colleagues who took the opportunity to take a good bath. Personally I did not get involved, but thanks to my boyfriend is also a member of the group we had a good time drinking cocktails, watching our companions and capturing funny moments.
After this, the night fell and we all started preparing for the musical show that started around 11:30 at night and ended around 1:30 a.m. It should be noted that our intervention in this event was the reason for the first national meeting of steaks, where those people passionate about cooking and specifically about the "roast" were performing workshop sand conferences to be up to date with gastronomic techniques, therefore, these people after so much work were eager to have some entertainment and live music.
In general everyone enjoyed the music a lotand were happy with the energy of the group, in addition, I realized that a large number of people were fans of the Colombian genre "vallenato", so they were seen singing at full blast. After finishing, we went down from the platform to rest and around 4 in the morning we were finally taken to a nearby hotel to stay since all the rooms of the hacienda were occupied.
The next day at about 11 in the morning began our return trip where we could return to enjoy beautiful landscapes arriving in our city at about 2:30 p.m. Even though I live in the state of Tachira this place was totally new to me, and I'm super happy to have met it. There are definitely amazing destinations to visit very close to where we live and we must make the most of them! It is not necessary to travel from one country to another to be a traveling soul, you can start by visiting your origins and discover what makes it special.
I hope you liked this tour and see you at a next opportunity❤.
