If I had $1000 to travel

If I had 1000 dollars to travel, I would do internal tourism in my country, I would pass by some known places and others that I want to know.

And i also saw this stop in other pinnmapple post 27 waterfalls and i would like to visit it too.

This is the map of the journey that i would make with the 1000$:

Starting from Santo Domingo (1), the capital, and the trip was calculated to last approximately 1 month. Sleeping in some of the local motels or in tents.

The first stop at San Rafael beach (2), it is a natural pool where the San Rafael River flows into the sea. It has become a destination by adding a few straw tables and umbrellas. The whole area of the river is covered with trees, letting in some rays of the sun.

The river has different levels and makes several beautiful waterfalls. The first picture is from inside the river looking towards the beach, the second one is of the waves on the beach, they are very strong, they easily take your bathing suit off if you are not careful. And the last one is one of the small waterfalls that are formed.

The second stop at Balneario los Patos (3), this beach is much quieter, in this area the sand has many white stones. Also the river flows into the beach.

Imagine that on one side you have the beach with hot water, you turn a little and you see the river with cold water and you keep turning and you have the beautiful mountain... nature at its best.

Part of the trip is make stops in the road, for example this one, i can't help but show you this beautiful wind park, those towers are immense and i really feel that they give a complement to the landscape and don't make it more crowded.

The next stop in Laguna de Oviedo (4) where we were given a ride in a little boat, we met many species of birds... at some times of the year flamingos arrive, but we were not lucky this time.

This stop, Bahía de las Águilas (5), is a very flattering one for everyone who visits it, it starts with a trip in a yola crossing a beautiful coast (which unfortunately i couldn't take pictures of because i had to hold on tight) arriving at a beautiful beach characterized by its white sand, crystalline water and soft tide. It is not very deep.

In this zone the ecosystem changes a little bit, you can notice how the mountain has a drier climate and you can even see different plants like cactus.

Nor can I fail to mention the beautiful road on the way to Lago Enriquillo, where the trees meet on its surface forming a vegetable tunnel.

Next stop, the Lago Enriquillo (6), the picture was taken from a viewpoint called ¨Las caritas¨ because at the top there are some faces carved in stone. I want to highlight the wooden railing that is broken everywhere... the climb up and down from there was a challenge for me, but the view was worth it.

Going deeper into the lake, they have the option of taking a boat tour, but since we arrived late and at that time the tide gets uncomfortable they recommended us not to go in.

After this I would jump to Pico Duarte (7) is the highest point of the island, and is organize excursions to get to the top, then I would make a trip in the Teleférico de Puerto Plata (8) knowing all the town and the surrounding roads. Making a stop at the 27 puddles of Damajagua (9) which consists of jumping 27 waterfalls that are one above the other, some higher. The idea is to climb the whole mountain and go down ¨saltando ¨.

Following the path I would stop at Laguna Dudu, Diamond Beach and Precious Beach (8), which belong to Cabrera. and finally I would visit the Saona Island. Of the latter I have no images because I have not been there, but I assure you they are beautiful.

And nothing, this is all for now, thank you very much for joining me in this little tripod corner, I hope you have a wonderful day, hopefully I will see you again soon... and remember, good vibes always.that would last 1 month.
