Travel Pro Architecture #92: Beach Bungalows of Koh Phangan Thailand! Part Eight (8 photos)
To hammock or not to hammock that is the question. Here on the island of Koh Phagnan Thailand this is about as serious as life gets. It's a laid back chill place to say the least. There are some 40 beaches going around this 125 square kilometer island sitting in the gulf of Thailand, and almost every beach has some bungalows on it.
I love architecture because I love culture! Architecture is truly a representation of a place and a people. In this photo series you are going to get a taste of the island life. Some are big, some are small. Some are new, some are old, and some are falling apart and abandoned.
What's your style? Bamboo, brick, modern, rustic? This one looks like a cabin, this one is on a hill, this one is on a rock, this one is almost in the sea. Would you like yours with a swimming pool, a kayak, a volleyball net; how about all three? Look, this one costs five dollars a night and you get a mosquito net and a fan. Over there you get a private pool and jacuzzi, it's time to splurge! Whatever bungalow is right for you, you can find it here.
Waking up to the sunrise or watching the sun set into the sea; it's up to you, all you need to know is the west from the east. The island is yours! Are you shooting for that Robinson Curruso feel, you can get that here too. How about a tree house bungalow and you make believe you're Peter Pan!
Maybe you are looking for something a bit more up-scale, a high end resort of bungalows! They have that here too. The choice is yours, but one thing is for sure, you should go with the hammock! Now come along and lets have a closer look at the beach bungalows of Koh Phagnan Thailand!

Did you know you have your own profile map?
And every post has their own map too!
Want to have your post on the map too?
By the time the tourist get back there the island will have been taken over by nature and all the Bungalows buried under all that nature 🤣
Definitely a fair statement.
Sad to see it happen though 😨
wouldn't mind staying in one of those!
How sad it probably would be the good time to buy one of them bungalows.
I'm sure you can get one at a big discount.
I would say so definitely.
That reminds me I MISS THAILAND!
