Day 14 of the 30-day Blogging Challenge (Part 2).

What languages do you speak?

The topic for today is languages. This one will be relatively simple for me because my native language is English. I think I have a decent command of this language with all it's nuances.

I do not speak any other language.

I do feel that being bilingual is an asset. This is especially true in today environment. Many careers and positions exist that are in high demand for bilingual employees.

I have been attempting to learn a different language, especially Spanish with the various apps available; however, it's a slow process. I must admit that I should have started years earlier.

El tema de hoy son los idiomas. Éste será relativamente sencillo para mí porque mi lengua materna es el inglés. Creo que tengo un dominio decente de este idioma con todos sus matices.

No hablo ningún otro idioma.

Creo que ser bilingüe es una ventaja. Esto es especialmente cierto en el entorno actual. Hay muchas carreras y puestos de trabajo que tienen una gran demanda de empleados bilingües.

He intentado aprender otro idioma, especialmente el español, con las diversas aplicaciones disponibles; sin embargo, es un proceso lento. Debo admitir que debería haber empezado años antes.

The only language i can speak fluently is English while I understand Spanish a little because I started learning it 6 months ago though have not been consistent.

It's funny you say that because I feel the same. I started Duo-lingo a few months ago, but haven't been consistent either in trying to learn Spanish. I've heard so many say Spanish is the easiest language to learn. Not for me. I depend upon the translators, but they are minimal at best in grammar and pronouns.
