L2 BC Day 13 - What is Hate?

What is hate? It's a very general concept at least in my opinion. Someone may hate dogs because when he was a younger some dog startled him, another hates another person because who was 12 knocked him down on the playground.

In my experience many people confuse disliking something with hating it. For example - I don't like eating carrots - so I hate them. Just because you don't like them doesn't mean you don't eat them in your favorite soup.

For me, the very word hate carries the message of something last. For example, when you hate someone - if there is such a person at all, it means that you limit any contact with him or with people who can mention this person to you. If you hate a food, you avoid it totally, that is, if you are offered somewhere to eat it you put it down - better to be hungry than to taste it.
