¡Hola a todos! Según el blogging challenge, me toca contarles acerca del mejor viaje que he realizado. La verdad, cada viaje es importante para mí, ya que me ha dejado lindos recuerdos.

Pero, hay un viaje en especial que recuerdo con cariño.

Hello everybody! According to the blogging challenge, I have to tell you about the best trip I have ever made. The truth is that every trip is important to me, as it has left me beautiful memories.

But, there is one trip in particular that I remember fondly.

Mi hermana, un amigo y yo, fuimos desde Barquisimeto hasta Caracas, la capital de Venezuela, para encontrarnos con un amigo que yo había hecho hacía tiempo en un evento de animación japonesa.

Mi amigo siempre ha sido un muchacho muy pana, nos dio alojamiento en su casa y nos llevó esos días a varios lugares.

My sister, a friend and I went from Barquisimeto to Caracas, the capital of Venezuela, to meet a friend that I had made a long time ago at a Japanese animation event.

My friend has always been a very cool boy, he gave us accommodation in his house and took us to various places during those days.

Llegamos más específicamente hasta la Guaira, que es donde vive mi amigo.

We got more specifically to La Guaira, which is where my friend lives.

Desde su casa se pude ver el puerto. El paisaje es realmente hermoso desde allí, pero igualmente me parece aterrador (sobre todo de noche) porque le temo al mar.

From his house you could see the port. The landscape is really beautiful from there, but I still find it terrifying (especially at night) because I fear the sea.

Fuimos al río y a la playa. Aunque no soy amante de los lugares con agua, puedo ir de vez en cuando.

We went to the river and the beach. Although I am not a lover of places with water, I can go from time to time.

Resulta que mi amigo nos tenía preparada una salida hasta el cerro el Ávila. Nunca había ido al Ávila y realmente fue una experiencia hermosa.

It turns out that my friend had prepared an exit for us to the Avila hill. I had never been to Ávila and it really was a beautiful experience.

Subirme en el teleférico también fue una experiencia increíble.

Getting on the cable car was also an incredible experience.

Realmente hacia mucho frío.

It was really very cold.

Fuimos a patinar sobre hielo. Mis patines me quedaban muy grandes y tuve una caída donde me lastimé muy fuerte el coxis. Después de ese incidente regresamos a la casa.

Pero ahí no terminó la cosa. Resulta que ese fin de semana había una reunión de otakus y claro, nosotros fuimos.

We went ice skating. My skates were too big for me and I had a fall where I hurt my tailbone very badly. After that incident we returned to the house.

But the thing did not end there. It turns out that there was an otaku meeting that weekend and of course, we went.

Ese viaje fue muy diferente a los demás que tuve, ya que normalmente siempre viajábamos únicamente para ir a los eventos de animación japonesa, pero tuvimos la oportunidad de ir a varios lugares, aparte de jugar amenamente videojuegos y ver películas. Realmente, un viaje digno de recordar.

That trip was very different from the others I had, since normally we always traveled only to go to Japanese animation events, but we had the opportunity to go to several places, apart from playing video games and watching movies. Truly, a trip worth remembering.

Recuerden que no importa a que lugares se haya ido, sino las experiencias que aprendimos allí y los recuerdos que construimos con los demás. Yo me llevé un fuerte dolor de espalda que me duró un par de semana debido a la caída ja ja ja pero a pesar de ello, no me arrepiento de haber viajado esos días...

I had severe back pain that lasted for a couple of weeks due to the fall ha ha ha but despite this, I do not regret having traveled those days ...
