Antes de empezar a escribir este post pensé que no tenía ninguna manía, por eso tuve que investigar un poco al respecto… y resulta que si.

Before I started writing this post I thought I didn't have any mania, so I had to do some research about it... and it turns out that I do.

Lo único que puedo considerar como una manía es la necesidad de verificar siempre que voy a salir a un lugar una y más de una vez es verificar que llevo todo lo que necesito, esto se produjo a raíz a de mi mala memoria siempre olvidaba cosas importantes de la escuela como material de estudio, luego tenía que soportar los sermones de mis padres.

The only thing that I can consider as a mania is the need to check whenever I go out to a place once and more than once to check that I have everything I need, this came about because of my bad memory I always forgot important things from school as study material, then I had to endure the lectures of my parents.

Esto me ocurrió tambien en mi vida universitaria, pues tenía que hacer mucho esfuerzo al devolverme a mi lugar de residencia y gastar mucho tiempo y dinero, también solía olvidar en muchas ocasiones el carnet estudiantil y en ocasiones perdia mucho tiempo en la puerta al escribir mi nombre en la lista y perder el almuerzo o pedir disculpas en comedor y pedir que por favor me dieran mi almuerzo y siempre era muy vergonzoso.

This also happened to me in my university life, because I had to make a lot of effort to go back to my place of residence and spend a lot of time and money, I also used to forget in many occasions the student card and sometimes I lost a lot of time at the door writing my name in the list and losing my lunch or apologizing in the dining room and asking to please give me my lunch and it was always very embarrassing.

Aun suelo olvidar cosas, por eso en las mañanas antes de salir al trabajo, comienzo a enumerar todas las cosas que necesito una y otra vez hasta cerciorarme de no olvidar nada, y a veces suelo cargar cosas que son innecesarias, es algo un poco agotador, pero lo considero ineludible antes de salir.

I still tend to forget things, so in the mornings before leaving for work, I start to list all the things I need over and over again until I make sure I don't forget anything, and sometimes I tend to carry things that are unnecessary, it's a bit exhausting, but I consider it unavoidable before leaving.
