Comedy rumble: Dry fasting

It is really amazing to me when i see people who restrain themselves from food especially in the system of fasting and prayers because to me, it sounds like holding my breath for a very long time. food is life and i dont joke with life but i know of a woman that do fast for 72hrs straight without food and water then I wonder how many lives she has. One morning I told my siblings that i was going to start fasting on a Monday for 12hrs, 6:00am to 6:00pm. My brother said no, that i shouldn't because things are quite expensive and they cant afford to buy a casket at least not now. I wonder who he thought was going to die if it's me or hunger?!.

Finally on monday morning, immediately i woke up that morning i went straight to the fridge and brushed my teeth with two bottles of cokes and bread from the fridge. I felt disappointed because i didn't even know when I opened the fridge talk less of when i held a drink from it and i didn't even remember that i was on fast. That is how monday canceled.

On Tuesday, i woke up and i was perceiving meat pie and some fry foods around 6:30am, I went into the kitchen and i saw my sister making meat pies for work then i started complimenting her, "Do you know you're such a wonderful cook?, for this pie to wake me up from bed this morning it must be really delicious. Mmmmm i knew it" she smiled at me and my compliment while i grinned back but i didn't know what has happened until i began feeling tasty that was when i realized that i had already eaten about two meat pies from the kitchen. At this point i could imagine God watching me in heaven with his decoder on channel 911, shrugging his shoulders and feeling disappointed on how he even made this person out of his own image and likeness.

Wednesday morning i woke up and prayed, i told God that i must fast today no matter wether food likes it or not. Finally started fasting for the first time ever since i was born, i fasted till 11:00am in the morning and i was already shivering then i heard hunger whispering to my ear, "see how you are vibrating like generator. young man, i have not started with you yet, I still have 7 hours!" i pretended as if i didn't hear and when it was about 1:pm my nose started malfunction then i could perceive all sort of meals that are being prepared 720 miles away from me. I knew this was the devil tempting me the same way he tempted christ after he fasted for 40 days and 40 nights. Although my own temptations were more than three.

That afternoon my siblings prepared different kinds of meal mostly my favorite ones. I knew they were instructed by that evil spirit of hunger that has been tormenting me. The aroma made my tummy rumble and i heard hunger speaking to me again, "You are joking with me joken't you??" I kept quiet and endured the rumbling tummy. And when it was 4:00pm i turned to pickup my phone and i saw three of my phones i didn't understand it and my eyes no longer could see clearly as everything began to triple the closer i look at objects the plentiful they became. i knew the end was near if something doesn't get inside my tummy but i have just two hours to finally tell the devil that i am indeed a successor and overcomer of hunger.

Unfortunately two hours started feeling like two days, i decided to sleep and hopefully wake up by 6:00pm to end my fast and eat everything i see the kitchen. I closed my eyes around 4:15 and rested for about an hour plus then i opened my eyes and i saw 4:22pm. Am i going back in time or the clock just decided not to crawl today. After i endured till 6:00pm when i was supposed to eat i didn't have any appetite for food. Somehow that spirit of hunger ran away from me after seeing how stubborn i was. Although i intended to fast that same way for a week, but that was the only day i could risked my life to fast😂 you can tell me about your fasting experience too.
