I want to assume that we all know the meaning of karma.
It is also well known that karma has two sides: the GOOD side and the BAD side. The good side says that if you do good, you'll receive good in times to come, while the bad side says that if you do bad, you'll see bad in times to come.
No doubt, we've seen these in practice, and we all know that they're real, even though it looks like they've been murdered and buried (no longer in existence).
Good karma in relationships
Let me give a story to illustrate this...
There was this guy in his early 30s who caught a 'fish' in our church and wants to marry her. This 'fish' is a very close friend of mine, so I knew everything that happened.
During that time, this lady was in school, and the guy became the "father" of the girl in terms of supplying all her financial needs. I even heard that he paid some of the girl's school fees just to capture her heart and secure a spot🥱.
Meanwhile, during that time, I was grooming to strike to win the lady's heart, but when I found out that the guy was there already as a serious boyfriend, I had to back off because I don't have money to be compete with him.
The worst part was that the two of them were religious people, so there was no benefit on the guy's side (you know what I mean😁🤣), and it was only the girl that was enjoying all the benefit.
Towards the end the lady's program in school, the lady lost interest in the relationship hence, they broke up.
Mehn! It hurt this guy to the bone & marrow, but nothing could be done. He cried bitterly, especially whenever he remembered his 'fatherly' support on her education.
Although rumours has it that it was the conflict between both parents that segregated the potential marriage, but we later found out that the lady was already with another prince charming when the broke up happened ...monkey dey work ,bamboo dey chop...premium breakfast🤣🤣*
That was it; they both ended, and all the sacrifices of the guy went into futility.
One of the holidays that I traveled home, I and some other church colleagues were discussing with the guy, and he poured out all that happened between him and the lady. He crowned the story with, "It's not bad, I invested in her life, and I trust karma to fight for me."
He meant;
He sewed into her life, and he's bound to reap the fruit one day in another lady's life.
Omo! Weetin be this? (what's this?)
All through my life, I never thought that people still take Karma this far😭.
Even though it sounded unbelievable, you'll find out that a lot of people are at this table.
People still date today and sacrifice a lot even when they know that the relationship is not heading anywhere, all with the mindset of "I'm sewing myself into her life; even if it doesn't work, karma will repay me in the next relationship."
Let me tell you...
Even though Karma is your next-door neighbor and you treat 'him' very well, he'll never come to your rescue in this kind of situation. Treating every girl that comes your way right is not a guarantee for good things to happen to you, nor is it a guarantee that your new or next relationship will pass through the road leading to marriage🥱.
If the next girl is still not the one, she will still chop you more than the previous girl, and nothing will happen.
**For the bad karma...
If she frustrated you and damaged your heart in a relationship and you released curses on her and wishing her to be visited with karma in her next relationship. Bro, Nothing will happen to her; in fact, she'll still frustrate the next guy in a relationship and go scot-free.
People call me stingy and I like it. Do you know why? There are some kind of investment I can't make in any relationship because if it's gone it's gone, karma is practically dead there.

This is really a serious issue and I know it's painful but anyone doing anything for anyone or giving anything to anyone should do it without expecting something in return because like the saying goes, expectations breeds disappointment

Taking care of a girl and investing in her life thinking she would be the one is not a guarantee she would eventually be the one. People tend to go wild in this situation when their thinking is that if they help such a lady, she would be theirs. This is not true.
People will always help people, and for you to expect in return is not a good thing because you will eventually be disappointed in the end. Do whatever is in your capacity and do it for God alone and not to receive something in return from such an individual.

I haven't witnessed karma fighting for me, it seems it selects people.
I have a lot of people I want this karma to visit eeh.
But last last, karma is dead and buried. Maybe it's alive in that part of your world 🤭
I have often wondered, does Karma ever get things wrong? Like, does Karma ever accidentally punish people for doing good, or vice versa? If so, is there a higher Karma to pay back Karma for its misdeeds?
It's all too confusing for me. I live life by a simple rule: Expect nothing, and you'll never be disappointed!
