Germany

Today will be talking about Germany. My mom’s friend moved to Germany in late 90s, at that time we didn’t have internet in our country, maybe the y did in Germany. So she sent a letter my mom a few times, telling how her new life in Germany is great. At that time we didn’t have washing machines that can dry clothes, so for her it was like a miracle and for us some unbelievable fairy tale:-)

She sent us package with all the modern kinds of chocolates and candles that post USSR countries didn’t have. Now we have them but at that time it was just “WOW”.

We never got to visit her there. Now I have my friend who moved to Germany and hopefully I could visit her and get to meet her kids and her husband. I’m sure it would be fun for both of us.

So what do we know about Germany?

We learned that Beethoven was from Germany. We are trying to do piano lessons with my kids and my son loves music lessons at school. He makes me find info about classical composers and musicians :-)

I heard from my friend that German sausages and beer are one of the best in the world.

I know that German people are very organized (I wish they could teach me🙈)

I love German Strudel, and I wish I can visit Europe one day, go to all the countries there with my family, and check out their historical architecture🏰.
