Challenge of the Week: #DirtyDiaperChallenge [ENG – ESP] || Motherhood On Hive

Como dice la frase: “YO LE CAMBIO EL PAÑAL Y ÉL ME HA CAMBIADO LA VIDA”.
Hola, amigas y amigos, espero que estén muy pero muy bien, el día de hoy les traigo mi experiencia con el temido y amado pañal jaja… Mi bebe tiene 3 meses y medio y SOY PRIMERIZA (un aplauso para mí que en esté corto tiempo me he convertido en una guerrera de la teti y del pañal, TODO POR MI CHIQUITO). En este periodo he aprendido (me autodenomino cinturón negro en el arte) sobre marcas que son MILES, también de las tallas, que no fue hasta el 2do mes aprendí que tenían el peso aproximado al reverso del pañal y a cómo cambiar a mi bebe sin que llore.

My baby is 3 and a half months old and I AM FIRST (a round of applause for me that in this short time I have become a teti and diaper warrior, ALL FOR MY CHIQUITO). In this period I have learned (I call myself a black belt in art) about brands that are THOUSANDS, also about sizes, that it was not until the 2nd month that I learned that they had the approximate weight of the back of the diaper and how to change my baby without him crying.

SÍ, TU QUE ME LEES, te reirás pero es que el arte de cambiar el pañal, se dice fácil, pero cuando tú bebe ya tiene la fuerza para patear, es todo UN RETO. No me quiero imaginar lo que me espera más adelante, pero bueno cada guerra a su tiempo…¡Las admiro mamis de niños más grandes!.

Dios me bendijo con un hijo, es un príncipe risueño. Todos los que tienen niño, comprenden lo rápido que hay que cambiarles el pañal, ya que en medio del cambio podemos terminar bañados en pis que puede comenzar de la nada. En este corto tiempo, ya hemos experimentado durante el cambio del pañal varios de estos baños mientras mi bebé a carcajadas ve el resultado de esa travesura involuntaria, (unos padres bañados en pis), y ¿cómo enojarte con un bebé y esa carita tan hermosa? IMPOSIBLE.

God blessed me with a son, he's a laughing prince. All those who have a child, understand how quickly their diapers need changing, because in the middle of the change we can end up bathed in piss that can start from nothing. In this short time, we have already experienced during the diaper change several of these baths while my baby laughs at the result of that involuntary mischief, (parents bathed in pee), and how do you get angry with a baby and that beautiful little face? IMPOSSIBLE.

En esta aparte de nuestra experiencia como primerizos se suma mi esposo que es un hombre de 1.82cm (muy alto y fuerte) que NUNCA había cargado un bebe y pues evidentemente cambiado un pañal, puedo contarles que ya es un experto en hacer reír al bebé y cambiarlo de forma rápida. ¡QUÉ VIVAN LOS PAPIS QUE NOS CONTRIBUYEN EN ESTAS PEQUEÑAS TAREAS y que hacen una GRAN diferencia!.

In this one apart from our experience as first timers, my husband is a man of 1.82cm (very tall and strong) who had NEVER carried a baby and so obviously changed a diaper, I can tell you that he is already an expert in making the baby laugh and change it quickly. LONG LIVE THE DADS WHO CONTRIBUTE TO US IN THESE SMALL TASKS and who make a GREAT difference!

Cambiando el pañal aparte de orine, podemos encontrar varias sorpresas, (como diría mi suegra “un chirrete”), ó MUCHA CACA que nos puede hacer correr para que no se salga y ocurra un “accidente” peor, pero muchas veces, con los costos elevados del pañal da una tristeza cuando no hacen y hay que desecharlo (di la verdad, tú también lo has vivido jajaja).

Changing the diaper apart from urine, we can find several surprises, (as my mother-in-law would say "a chirrete"), or MUCH CACA that can make us run so that it doesn't come off and a worse "accident" occurs, but many times, with the high costs of the diaper it gives a sadness when they don't make it and it has to be discarded (tell the truth, you have also lived it hahaha).

Soy una primeriza que trata de ser muy estudiosa y estoy al pendiente del color, consistencia, olor y TODO lo que se refiere a la caca de mi bebé y en ocasiones es tan obsesivo que mi esposo me dice que si acaso estoy buscando un número en la caca de mi bebé para jugar la lotería.

I am a first timer who tries to be very studious and I am aware of the color, consistency, smell and EVERYTHING about my baby's poo and sometimes it is so obsessive that my husband tells me that if I am looking for a number on my baby's poo to play the lottery.

Sea como sea le doy gracias a DIOS y bendigo al que inventó el pañal en cualquiera de sus presentaciones porque nos ayuda a mantener a nuestros niños limpios y cómodos. Disfruto mucho el aprender y “llamar a los bomberos” (es una broma) cuando el pañal está muy full, y sea cual sea la caca de tu bebe o la cantidad de orine, siempre el amor será más fuerte y te dará la fuerza, agilidad, y hasta creatividad para cambiarlo. Un abrazo mamis y bendiciones a sus pequeños.
Ya se hizo mi bebe, voy a cambiarle el pañaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaal…¡Bomberos tenemos un SOS urgente, necesitamos un pañal!!!!!!

Be that as it may, I thank GOD and bless the one who invented the diaper in any of his presentations because it helps us keep our children clean and comfortable. I really enjoy learning and "calling the fire department" (just kidding) when the diaper is too full, and no matter how much your baby poops or how much he pees, the love will always be stronger and give you the strength, agility, and even creativity to change it. My baby is done, I'm going to change her diaper... We have an urgent SOS, we need a diaper!
