Splendor in the Grass

Good afternoon, everyone!
After a few good rainy days it was finally time to cut the grass. As I was mowing, I noticed mushrooms growing around the tree. I was careful not to destroy any of them but some inevitably got shredded. They pop up every year, mostly growing in groups around the north side of the large maple tree in the front yard. They are probably part of a mycorrhizal relationship that benefits both the tree and the fungal network. I picked a lonely one to photograph because it was the best looking one. The others were partially shredded or otherwise imperfect.
That is all for today!
Hope you enjoyed it!

It looks like an older mica cap maybe?

I used to make spore prints of every mushroom I saw so that I could identify them. I'm not sure what this one is.
