Today is Friday. We go on a forest walk again. The weather is not at all against our promenade. The trees in this part of the forest are mostly deciduous. And the forest itself does not look very healthy. There was a forest fire here many years ago. Burned forests do not live long.

Сегодня пятница. Мы снова идем гулять по лесу. Погода совсем не против нашей прогулки. Деревья в этой части леса в основном лиственные. Да и сам лес выглядит не очень здоровым. Много лет назад здесь случился лесной пожар. Сожженные леса долго не живут- на березах много трутовиков. Гриб считается паразитом, но я думаю, что он также является помощником. За несколько лет этот гриб может практически полностью разрушить погибший ствол дерева. Если природе не мешать, она сама справится со здоровьем леса, для этого у нее есть свои инструменты. Гриб размножается спорами, проникающими в дерево через трещины и ожоги.

There are a lot of tinder fungi on birches.The fungus is considered a parasite, but I think it is also a helper. For several years, this mushroom is able to almost completely destroy the old tree trunk. If nature is not interfered with, it will cope with the health of the forest itself, for this it has its own tools. The fungus reproduces by spores, entering the tree through cracks and burns.
