Awesome bolete. To harvest the Chaga I would have thrown the axe in the air trying to knock it off the tree lol. Dangerous method though as it can result in an axe in the head.

No, a long wooden chisel is much safer and more accurate :))

There's the chance the axe might just stick into the chaga and be stuck up there forever lol.
