Hi, moviegoers! I hope that today you're in a mood for laughing. I'm sure that in this week's contest organized by the Movies & TV Shows community many of us will coincide in some of our favorite movies and comedy series.

Good comedy is easier to remember, after all 😁

No matter how many times I watch the movies and series I have included in my top cause they always make my day. Besides, it wouldn't be surprising if many of us still save a sacred space on our routine for the upcoming comedy shows.

🍿MY FAVORITE TV SHOWS🍿

🍿THE SIMPSONS🍿

It is difficult to read about the most famous yellow family of television without listening to the sound of the intro of this animated TV show in our head. The truth is that there are mythical series and definitely The Simpsons is one of them and not only because of how controversial it's been, nor because of the strange theories that there are around the show.

I must admit that I'm still intrigued about the theories regarding the fact that The Simpsons predicted certain events.

Besides, Springfield is a place that we can relate even with our own environment. In Springfield there are characters so varied that we could even recognize some in our own reality.

Since I was little I've dedicated many hours of my life to this show and the truth is that it's always an essential element for my nights. I've created a whole night routine to amuse myself with the occurrences of Homer, Bart, Lisa, Marge, Maggie, Grandpa Abraham and the whole wide range of characters created by Matt Groening

Besides, is there anyone who hasn't seen Halloween specials and the Simpsons Marathons? They're unmissable!

🍿THE BIG BANG THEORY🍿

Bazinga! Who said that a show about scientists could not make you laugh? It hasn't been me. sincerely I think this series shows that in comedy there are no stereotypes. It's hard to think about a Warner Bros Channel without Sheldon, Leonard, Penny, Amy, Howard, Raj and Bernadette.

The intellect of these scientists and passionate geeks is extremely broad, but their social skills with women and people in general do not help them at all.

It's exciting to see how little by little the plot of this show developes by a single and simple event: the arrival of Penny to the life of Leonard and Sheldon.

The most interesting thing is that, if you also like science, there are certainly many references that are simple to digest for the audience and that sometimes make you want to investigate a bit for yourself.

As if it weren't enough, if you like science fiction, you will also find many references to this genre thanks to our moviegoers main characters 😁

🍿HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER🍿

A group of friends who meets at a bar ... It seems a bit trite and familiar. The truth is that there are many shows that have turned around the lives of a group of friends, but this one has always been special for me for some reason that I still don't fully understand. I've seen this show 3 times and the truth is that I wouldn't mind to watch it again.

Its main character is Ted Evelyn Mosby, an architect who dreams and fantasizes about finding the woman of his dreams and that in his search he only gets to know about blows and stumbles. Until he finds her: the mother of his children. He is supposed to reveal the mistery of who she is and how he met her, so he goes to the past everytime in order to do so.

Though his life with his friends Lily (a Kindergarten teacher and art enthusiastic), Marshall (lawyer, Ted's best friend and Lily's couple) and Barney (a megalomaniac seducer) is the most important thing behind all this plot.

These three characters are Ted's group of friends. At least until he meets Robin, a Canadian journalist with great ambition and a past as a singer.

🍿MY FAVORITE COMEDY FILMS🍿

🍿THE LONGEST YARD (2005)🍿

In terms of comedy movies I have to admit that I've always loved Adam Sandler's films. Especially this little gem of the comedy where he plays the athlete Paul Crewe, who is willing to train in jail a group of his companions prisoners to defeat the prison guards in an American football game.

There are many moments in this film that make my stomach really hurt from laughing and I think that if you've seen you will understand what I say *

🍿I NOW PRONOUNCE YOU CHUCK AND LARRY 🍿(2007)

Sometimes everything is not just about laughing. Although of course in this film starring Adam Sandler and Kevin James there's a lot to laugh of. The important thing about this plot is that, in addition to covering comedy, it touches important social issues such as the rights of the LGBTQ+ community.

Chuck and Larry's friendship is so strong and they care so much for each other that they are willing to do anything, even to plan a fake marriage to protect Chuck's family.

🍿BRUCE ALMIGHTY (2003)🍿

This is definitely my favorite movie by Jim Carrey and the role of Morgan Freeman as God only makes it better. From this movie onwards, it is difficult to imagine another person who is not Freeman in the role of God.

🍿WHITE CHICKS 🍿(2004)

I don't know you, but I have an insane fascination with this movie. White Chicks is one of those films that you want to see more than one, more than ten, more than twenty times. It's one of the funniest jobs of the comedians Marlon and Shawn Wayans along with Terry Crews.

I honestly believe that this is one of the best comedy films of the 2000's.
