I'm participating in the "Movie A to Z Challenge" created by @serialfiller that as it says in your post, was inspired by @psos (music A to Z challenge). I invite everyone to participate in both, because I really liked their initiative.

To participate, just follow the letter that corresponds to today (G) and comment on all the movies that start with that letter. It will be appreciated to put a trailer and tell a little of the synopsis. It can be up to 3 types of films per day. So let's go to my collaboration today.

Godzilla II: King of the Monsters

The Godzilla universe is huge, has several titles and you can even do a marathon in this time of pandemic. Films ranging from 1955 to the present day. The movie is the type for those who like the monster genre, I'm not a big fan, but I've watched several films since I was a child about Godzilla and to follow the graphic evolution of this scary monster is very interesting.

Godzilla II: King of the Monsters (2019) is one of the latest in the franchise and basically tells the events that happened 5 years ago since the last feature in 2014. The Monarch agency tries to race against time to study the behavior of these monsters to find one weak point to end these threats. The battles are epic and as I said, those who like monsters ending everything will not regret watching it.

Green Lantern

Anyone who likes hero movies, more precisely feature films from DC, certainly watched the Green Lantern. Critics in general do not have good references for this work, not least because it is complicated to release a film that comes from games, books or comics and sees that solid story that everyone has acquired over time being totally distorted in a film.

Particularly I thought it was cool and the lead role goes to the talented Ryan Reynolds who plays test driver Hal Jordan. Unexpectedly fate caused him to come across an alien ring with incredible powers. Well, the film contains action with hints of humor and is a good option to watch. Regardless of the criticism that often doesn't follow the same reasoning as mine and I respect that, although I like each one. I would recommend this film.

  • Director: Martin Campbell
  • Script: Greg Berlanti, Michael Green, Marc Guggenheim, Michael Goldenberg
  • Cast: Ryan Reynolds, Blake Lively, Peter Sarsgaard, Mark Strong, Tim Robbins, Jay O. Sanders, Taika Waititi, Angela Bassett, Mike Doyle
  • Duration: 114 min
  • Launch: 2011

Nice post, bro.

Godzilla has a very interesting "mythology" around it.
