Hello everyone...

I was looking forward to uploading this review of the second episode of the loki series, but lately, I've had countless problems with the internet and electricity, as both are constantly going out making it impossible for me to work as a quality spoiler hahaha. I want to say that the second episode completely turns the plot around as we thought it would and opens up many possibilities that we didn't even think could happen before, about time travel and timeline destructions, in this episode we finally understand why the bad variant of loki is stealing all the reset charges from the timelines.

Before I start I would like to say that I would have loved to have all the essential screenshots of the second episode, but due to the lack of electricity and internet I couldn't complete all the images, so I hope you like it, Without more to say, let's start:

The episode begins with a TVA team planning to erase a timeline where the bad variant of Loki has been, as they are already warned of the danger posed by this variant, a commander and a tactical team go to the year 1985 to a medieval fair.

But when they enter a tent they are attacked by the variant and killed, except the commander, who is key to the plan of loki. In addition to stealing the reset charge of that timeline.

We cut to another scene where we see loki studying everything he needs to know to be a TVA agent, we see that orange Miss minute clock, asking him key questions to evaluate his progress when suddenly mobius appears and tells loki that they have a mission since once again the variant annihilated an entire tactical team. So loki, and a group of TVA agents goes to 1985 to remedy the damage.

Something that can be seen while mobius and loki go to the portal to go to 1985, is that loki expresses his desire to have an audience with the guardians of time and tries to trick mobius to get it but mobius knowing that he is the god of lies does not fall into his trap.

After the whole team went to 1985 they see how the whole team has been massacred, then mobius lets loki try to explain what they must do to catch the variant. After being unsuccessful they return to the base.

At the base, the supreme judge talks with mobius about if loki's participation is necessary and if she trusts him, since the god of lies can never be trusted, but mobius is convinced that loki is of great help and persuades the judge to continue helping him. and promises her that they will find the hideout of the bad variant since so far they don't know where it is hidden.

Now loki and mobius have the mission to find the hideout of the variant, so loki starts to sift through files of him and his land, and finds an explanation of how the bad variant uses the apocalyptic and destructive events to hide and avoid locating his temporal aurea and avoid disruptions in the timeline.

Loki explains to mobius in a very convincing way with a salad and salt, how the variant has been able to hide in places that are about to be destroyed, since being places that will be erased from history and will have no importance the variant hides just before the apocalyptic events occur and as that line will be destroyed, TVA is not interested in looking for something among the ruins.

So they try to see if their theory is true and travel to the time of Rome just before the Pompeii volcano destroyed the city, and notice that although loki makes a fuss there are no temporal variations or ramifications are created in the sacred timeline, so they return to the base to try to locate the bad variant with a clue left in the monastery of the first episode.

Mobius investigates the package of candy that the bad variant left to the altar boy of the church and realizes that the variant is hiding in a strong cataclysm that will occur in 2050 when a strong hurricane ravages a whole city, so with a super tactical and trained team, they go to look for the variant in a market where some people are taking refuge.

But as the supermarket is very large and with many levels, the team has to split up. So loki and the agent who caught him in the first episode go together and meet the variant who takes possession of the agent and begins to talk to loki, at the same time mobius and the rest of the team meet the commander that at the beginning of the episode the bad variant kidnapped, and after loki fight against his variant, this one makes him see the plan that he has, and it is that with all those loads of resetting the time that he stole he plans to make chaos in all the lines of the time so that all the agents of the TVA get desperate trying to stop him and the variant goes to his objective, to try to control the biggest power of the universe, the power of the guardians.

So after the bad variant activates his plan and the TVA agency sees chaos in the timelines by different ramifications, the bad variant is revealed as a woman we all know who is a witch and the worst enemy of Thor: Lady Loki or Enchantress.

So after opening a portal and entering it, loki sees an opportunity to understand everything or to also follow his main objective and goes after lady loki and ends the episode with all the agents trying to solve the ramifications in the sacred timeline.

The good stuff

Well, I loved how the plot takes an unexpected turn and introduces new characters in this story and the UCM, it is also exciting to see how the TVA agency slips out of their hands by a simple being that has no power in the sacred timeline.

It is also exciting to see how Loki is achieving his goal and although we do not know if he will betray the TVA or use his escape to avoid everything, it is excellent to see how this plot is developing.

The bad or what I didn't like.

I think nothing, this chapter has nothing I didn't like. Everything is so well elaborated and done that makes it impossible to find flaws in the plot, everything is happening exactly as it does in the comics.

In conclusion

Without a doubt, I'm waiting for Wednesday to see the new episode of loki and see what happened after loki went through that portal, also to know if the TVA could avoid the destruction of the sacred timeline and if this event leads to another more catastrophic that makes them need the help of doctor strange, it's just a matter of waiting and see how it all unfolds.
