South ParQ Vaccination Special Review

The new South Park Special is out so i couldn't keep myself for not watching it. To tell you the truth i have mixed feelings about what i watched. Not that it wasn't good, it's always good but there was a mixture of feelings, happiness, and sadness at the same time. I will tell you more later on, for now, let's get started with the plot!

Plot

So for all of you that don't know, the episode is 1 hour long and starts at South Park during the Covid Crisis. In fact, the timeline follows our own timeline, with everyone facing the Covid19 crisis for over a year. Now it's the beginning of the vaccinations in which the older people are eligible first.

Thus, in South Park, there is a line with many people around 30-50 years old that all wanna get vaccinated but the "bodyguard" (who resembles a club bodyguard) doesn't let anyone in. Only the older people can get in and can get vaccinated and they showed this to us in a funny way.

For example, you see a 70+year-old woman that gets in and while she's going in she turns to the people waiting in line and says "Fuck you bitches i am 75!". Another one is that you see all the old people out hanging together, going to bars, and enjoying life because they are all vaccinated now and can do everything the rest of the people cannot!

Now, our protagonists are facing a crisis themselves, a crisis in their broship! Kenny thinks that they are a bit apart and Cartman as usual has a plan to solve that. The plan is a prank in which he will add ketchup to the teacher's sit and because she wears white it will look like a period.

So the plan is executed and that leads to a heavy frustration because she risks her life teaching and nobody cares about that, so she decides to quit. Now all the kids are angry not only at Cartman and Kenny but the other 2 as well because Cartman said they all did it together.

They also hate them because now they will need to stay home and do their class via zoom or something. Apparently, though Mr. Garrison comes back to South Park after his failure as a President and faces the hate of everyone.

As usual, the "team" has to do something about it and they decide to steal some vaccines in order to give them out to their teachers and all enjoy their class. They also think that by doing so their teacher will come back and they will get rid of Mr Garrison.

At the same time, we also see the conspiracy theorists with their leader being Mr White that they try to "inform" and "teach" the kids about the evil celebrities that are eating kid's blood and how the vaccines will turn everyone into mindless zombies!

I won't say more about what exactly is happening and what is the outcome of all of the above, i think i already gave you a big idea of what exactly is happening and included in the show! Let me now tell you what i think about this special!

My Opinion about the Vaccination Special!

As i said earlier i have mixed feelings. I thought i will constantly laugh with this episode but i think i felt more sadness and frustration than i thought so. The reason is that they tried successfully highlight the sad reality that we are all facing.

There were some harsh truths in that special that can be said only through the mouths of these kids. The reason i felt frustration and sadness wasn't because of those truths and harsh reality because i perfectly know it as well.

I felt like that because there are so many people out there that won't even get it by watching the show as well. So many people are doing exactly the opposite of what they should have done in a crisis like this because they are immature.

They managed to highlight so many important issues, about Holywood, Disney, conspiracy theorists, effects of quarantine on kids, people, the unbalance between who will receive a vaccine, and many more! Finally, read the above image along with the last one...
