How to lose a guy in 10 days | Movies to watch while painting your nails and drinking vodka

Hello, living beings! Today I bought a new black nail polish and a nail file, and following a habit I'm trying to keep since almost two months ago, I started with the search for the girliest and pink movie that would provoke me to watch, thanks to the fact that I'm with @laloretoyya and that I said I had never seen this movie, we started to watch it, me for the first time, I don't know how many times she has already seen it, and all this while painting my nails and drinking vodka, and as I write this I'm still a little drunk.

This movie is from 2003, so I'm going to do all the spoilers I want, plus I'm drunk and I don't care if I offend anyone, sorry not sorry, and I add that I'm about to suffer a mental breakdown because the space bar on Natalia's laptop is too hard and you almost have to hit it to make it separate the words.

By now half the world knows what this movie is about, Andie works in the pinkest and girly magazine in town writing tutorials that teach how to achieve things in a simple way and get away with it, Ben works in advertising company with the specific themes of beer and sports. Two totally different worlds that will come together thanks to the two of them in a very unexpectedly cliché way.

El dia de hoy me compré una pintura de uñas color negro nueva y una lima, y siguiendo una costumbre que estoy tratando de mantener desde hace casi dos meses, comencé con la búsqueda de la película más girly y rosa que me provocara ver, gracias a que estoy con @laloretoyya y que dije que nunca había visto esta película, comenzamos a verla, yo por primera vez, ella no sé cuántas veces ya la ha visto, y todo esto mientras me pintaba las uñasy tomaba vodka, y mientras escribo esto sigo un poco ebrio.

Esta película es del año 2003, así que voy a hacer todos los spoilers que quiera,además de que estoy ebrio y me importa poco si ofendo a alguien, sorry not sorry, y agrego que estoy a punto de sufrir un colapso mental porque la barra espaciadora de la laptop de la Natalia es demasiado dura y casi que hay que golpearla para que separe las palabras.

Ya medio mundo sabe de qué trata esta película, Andie trabaja en la revista más rosa y girly de la ciudad escribiendo especies de tutoriales que enseñan cómo lograr cosas de una forma simple y lograr salir ilesa, Ben trabaja en una empresa publicitaria con los temas específicos de la cerveza y el deporte. Dos mundos totalmente diferenes que se van a unir gracias a ellos dos de una forma muy inesperadamente cliché.

I loved this movie even though it is just another one of the bunch that tells the same story over and over again about a heterosexual couple that ends up together even though their intentions were very different, for example, The Proposal with Sandra Bullock and Ryan Reynolds, and that is the only movie that my drunk brain can come up with to compare it, but anyway, I'm sure you guys as you are usually sober, are going to think of many more similar movies that don't have a very different plot let's say.

The acting of Kate Hudson and Matthew McConaughey is what really makes this movie something incredible, I don't know how the current world would accept this movie, but the idea that I get may be very accurate for all the things that it has wrong seen from many aspects, but all that loses its true meaning when one understands that this kind of movies is made more to entertain than to give a feminist message and female empowerment, although it is more than sure that this was the only way these movies could be made before: disguising them as something that they are not: a comedy.

This drunk writing thing is fun, a lot of fun, but I doubt I'll be doing it very often. Disappointed in this movie? Not at all, I enjoyed it from the beginning to the end, I laughed too much and although it didn't make me cry, I would have liked to, movies that make me cry will always have a special place in my melon heart.

Amé esta película aunque sea una más del montón que cuente la misma historia una y otra vez sobre una pareja heterosexual que termina junta aunque sus intenciones fueran muy diferentes, por ejemplo: La Propuesta con Sandra Bullock y Ryan Reynolds, y esa es la única película que mi cerebro ebrio puede llegar a pensar para compararla, pero en fin, seguro ustedes como suelen estar sobrios, van a pensar en muchas más películas similares que no tienen una trama muy diferente que digamos.

La actuación de Kate Hudson y Matthew McConaughey es lo que realmente hace de esta película algo increíble, no sé cómo aceptaría el mundo actual esta película, pero la idea que me hago puede ser muy acertada por todas las cosas que tiene mal vista desde muchos aspectos, pero todo eso pierde su verdadero significado cuando uno entiende que este tipo de películas está hecho más para entretener que para dar un mensaje feministe y de empoderamiento femenino, aunque es más que seguro que esa era la única forma en que estas películas podian ser hechas anteriormente: disfrazándolas de algo que no son, una comedia.

Esto de escribir ebrio es divertido, muy divertido, pero dudo de que lo haga muy seguido. ¿Decepcionado de esta película? En absoluto, la disfruté desde el principio hasta el final, me reí demasiado y aunque no me hizo llorar, me hubiera gusta hacerlo, las películas que me hacen llorar siempre van a tener un lugar especial en mi corazón de melón.

From the beginning, I didn't like that they both used each other just for a bet and for a newspaper article to achieve and/or prove that they were capable of falling in love with someone for more than ten days and to fall in love with someone and make them leave you in no more than ten days.

That kind of thing has always seemed ridiculous to me, and even more ridiculous that they end up together, because, oh, surprise, they end up falling in love for real when their real intentions were never to end the feelings deeply involved with the victim of their manipulations, don't people have a little dignity and know how to give themselves the necessary courage to walk away from those who use them and when they realize that what they were doing was wrong they repent and reveal everything?

I hope you understand the above question as I did when I wrote it and rewrote it three times. Anyway, I can't be upset with either of them here because they both used each other, and although the last vestige of dignity they both possessed caused them to insult each other and break up at the last minute, they still ended up together because they fell in love with the person they were using to get a publicity contract and the person who would show theory that no one should follow.

Desde un principio no me gustó que ambos se usaran mutuamente solo por una apuesta y por un artículo periodístico para lograr y/o demostrar que eran capaces de enamorar a alguien por más de diez días, y de enamorar a alguien y hacer que te deje en no más de diez días.

Ese tipo de cosas siempre me ha parecido ridículo, y más ridículo aún que terminen juntos, porque, oh, sorpresa, se terminan enamorando de verdad cuando sus verdaderas intenciones nunca fueron terminar con los sentimientos involucrados profundamente con la víctima de sus manipulaciones, ¿acaso la gente no tiene un poco de dignidad y sabe darse el valor necesario como para alejarse de aquellos que los usan y cuando se dan cuenta de que lo que estaban haciendo estaba mal se arrepienten y revelan todo?

Espero que entiendan la pregunta anterior así como yo lo hice al escribirla y rehacerla tres veces. En fin, aquí no me puedo molestar con ninguno porque ambos se usaron mutuamente, y aunque el último vestigio de dignidad que ambos poseían hizo que se insultaran y se separaran de último momento, de igual forma terminaron juntos porque se enamoraron de la persona que estaban usando para conseguir un contrato publicitario y la persona que desmostraría teoría que nadie debería seguir.

This did not turn out the way I thought it would, and I might get a lot of hate and scorn for everything I said, and I failed to really say all the good things the movie has, such as the soundtrack and the performance of the two living beings I already mentioned.

Anyway, here is the trailer! I didn't even see it, but I did see the movie, so I recommend it if you want to spend an enjoyable weekend, wanting to fall deeply in love with someone who falls in love with you in the same way, and that everything stays that way forever, but, hey, it rarely happens.

Esto no resultó en lo que pensaba, y posiblemente reciba mucho odio y desprecio por todo lo que dije, y me faltó decir de verdad todas las cosas buenas que tiene la película, como el soundtrack y la actuación de los dos seres vivos que ya les mencioné.

En fin,¡Aquí les dejo el trailer! Ni siquiera lo vi, pero la película sí, así que se las recomiendo si quieren pasar un fin de semana ameno, queriendo enamorarse profundamente de alguien que se enamore de la misma forma de uno, y que todo se mantenga así por siempre, pero, hey, pocas veces sucede.
