Artemis Fowl: An Unnecessarily Expensive Disney Blooper(my take)

I write adventure fantasies, though I'm no where close to Disney, but I almost sold my story to them back in 2008. So I know a good plot when I see one, I also know a good fantasy movie that makes you come back again and again for a rewatch.

Disney don't disappoint in classic fantasy adventures, you could attest to this fact with The Pirate of the Caribbean franchise, it is one of those Disney movies that marvel the world. Also, how about wonders performed in the movie that broke all time record in sales: Avengers!

With a whooping $125 million, this movie was made. If you don't think this movie was a big flop then maybe you ain't a diehard adventure movie fans. With a $125 Million Budget, its didn't catch much attention as expected but it's Disney, they got the money!

The story line is about that of Artemis Fowl, a 12-year-old boy genius and descendant of a long line of criminal masterminds. His dad(played by Collins Farrell) is a genius artifacts thief and he is missing. Artemis Fowl soon finds himself in an epic battle against a race of powerful underground fairies who may be behind his father's disappearance and he had to forge alliance with the good fairies to find his dad and solve a long unknown mystery about a missing pearl.

Thankfully, it wasn't shown in the cinemas, I'll be so angry to go watch it there. I'll rate it 5/10 just because of the amazing CGI effects and the humongous amount spent making the movie!
