Blue Lock: selfishness and competitiveness at another level (2022) Review [Eng - Esp]

Personally I must say that I do not consider myself a fanatic or a person with a great eagerness or interest in this sport the truth, I do not dislike it or anything like that, on the contrary it just does not call my attention and interest but curiously the series of which I will speak below is fully linked to this theme in its entirety, but with a somewhat different concept. I saw several reviews and opinions about this particular anime and certainly beyond the visual section, and its quite attractive animation I also wanted to see what was striking about it besides the aspect I mentioned, so I made an exception which I have done before as for example with a series linked to this sports theme called Inazuma eleven, which perhaps I will talk about it much later because it was certainly entertaining, but now returning to this series in question I must say that I liked it a lot.

Clearly what I liked most was how the concept of soccer itself was handled but taken to a different and competitive dynamic that of course the latter factor will always be present in sports of this nature and others, but I will talk in detail about this later, so this time I will leave my comfort zone and I will talk about an anime of which I did not expect anything, I gave it a chance by various positive opinions in networks and I end up hooking this time I bring you the anime Blue Lock.

En lo personal debo decir que no me considero una persona fanática o con un gran afán o interés por este deporte la verdad, no me desagrada o algo así por el estilo, al contrario no es así simplemente no llama mi atención eh interés pero curiosamente la serie de la cual les hablare a continuación esta plenamente ligada a esta temática en su totalidad, pero con un concepto algo diferente. Vi varias críticas y opiniones sobre este anime en particular y ciertamente más allá del apartado visual, y su animación bastante atractiva quería ver también que era lo que tenia de llamativo además del aspecto que mencione, así que hice una excepción cosa que ya he hecho antes como por ejemplo con una serie vinculada a esta temática deportiva llamada Inazuma eleven, que quizás hable de la misma mucho más adelante porque fue ciertamente entretenida, pero ahora volviendo a esta serie en cuestión debo llegar a decir que me gusto mucho.

Claramente lo que más me gusto fue como se manejo el concepto del futbol en sí pero llevado a una dinámica diferente y competitiva que claro este último factor siempre estará presente en deportes de esta índole y otros, pero ya hablare de a poco con detalles sobre esto más adelante, así que esta vez saldré de mi zona de confort y les hablare sobre un anime del cual no esperaba nada, le di una oportunidad por diversas opiniones positivas en redes y me termino enganchando esta vez les traigo el anime de Blue Lock.

Blue Lock or as it is colloquially known in Japan buru rokku, is being considered a manga series written by Muneyuki Kaneshiro and illustrated by Yusuke Nomura, this manga was serialized in the Weekly Shonen Magazine, published by Kodansha since August 2018, this manga is being focused on the sports genre to be more precise in soccer.

On August 12, 2021 it was announced that an animated adaptation of the manga would be carried out, and the studio in charge of carrying out this work is the studio 8 - Bit, being directed by Tetsuaki Watanabe and Shunsuke Ishikawa and carried out with the musical work by Jun Murayama, it was on October 8, 2022 that the broadcast of the series was shown which to this date is still in broadcast and in force.

Blue Lock o como se le conoce coloquialmente en Japón buru rokku, viene siendo considerada una serie de manga escrita por Muneyuki Kaneshiro e ilustrada por Yusuke Nomura, dicho manga fue serializado en la Weekly Shonen Magazine, publicada por Kodansha desde Agosto del 2018, dicho manga viene estando enfocado al género deportivo para ser más preciso en el futbol.

El 12 de Agosto del 2021 se anuncio que se llevaría a cabo una adaptación animada de dicho manga, y el estudio encargado para llevar a cabo este trabajo viene siendo el estudio 8 – Bit, siendo dirigida por Tetsuaki Watanabe y Shunsuke Ishikawa y llevado a cabo con el trabajo musical por parte de Jun Murayama, fue el 8 de Octubre del 2022 que se mostro la emisión de la serie la cual hasta esta fecha sigue aun en emisión y vigente.

Synopsis / Sinopsis

The plot focuses on a soccer player named Isagi Yoichi, a striker who due to certain situations in a soccer match and the result of the same then receives an invitation to be part of a new innovative program called Blue Lock which will involve many soccer players, with the curious detail that all the invited players are strikers. Isagi gets involved in this as well as the other players, to try to excel in this project and be the best of the best going through various tests and this is where the real challenge will begin.

La trama se centra en un jugador de futbol llamado Isagi Yoichi, un delantero el cual debido a ciertas situaciones en un partido de futbol y el resultado del mismo recibe luego una invitación, para ser partícipe de un nuevo programa innovador llamado Blue Lock el cual involucrara a muchos jugadores de futbol, con el curioso detalle de que todos los jugadores invitados son delanteros. Isagi se me inmiscuido en esto así como los demás jugadores, para intentar sobresalir en dicho proyecto y ser los mejores de los mejores atravesando diversas pruebas y es aquí donde el verdadera reto comenzara.

Personal opinion / Opinión personal

As I mentioned in the introduction of this review, this sport in particular does not call my attention and it is quite curious that I say so because when I was a teenager, I had the opportunity to play with a team and I covered the position of goalkeeper, but well, things change and happen for a reason, besides that at that time I was a very different person from the one I am now and I liked to play it more than anything because of the closeness and interaction I had with my friends than for other things, but anyway the point is that from that moment to the present my interest for this is minimal or null. Returning to the anime in question in the networks mainly Facebook in the groups of anime and series where I am I saw several post of which spoke well about this anime, so instead of spoilearme or simply not give it a chance I gave importance to the comments and the approval of those people, and I decided to see it and really to this point I really like the truth I must say, since the concept and all the dynamics that make up this sport is shown in a somewhat different way here.

You see the main intention, from what I could understand and in a very simplistic and superficial way because I don't want to spoil, is that the concept of this sport is trying to modify following the basic and established guidelines that consolidate it, motivated by the factor of selfishness or individualism a curious concept that makes some noise considering that it is a game that is certainly played as a team, and if it is evidently so but within the positions of the 11 players on both sides there is one that stands out considerably, and that is the attacker or striker and see how this was used to carry out a series of broader things that will lead the characters to think and act in a somewhat different way, before the tests to be met I quite liked the truth, even the series is still in broadcast and has so far 6 chapters I'm really feeling attracted to read the manga because of the good hook that had with me, and now it is time to break this part by part and talk about the other points on this interesting series.

With the section of the animation I can say that it has a fluidity and dynamism very but very good, the truth to me the aspect in this point that most called my attention certainly is the approach and the game that is given to the facial expressions, in this case focusing much to the eyes, I really liked the truth I saw some images and comparisons of that style with the manga and they really did a good job, besides this everything that makes up the series by this point is very good being carried by an acceptable fluency, and a striking coloration although as I mentioned a moment ago, I feel that what takes more weight at this point are the facial expressions and body language that I also failed to mention, there are scenes or moments in which shows a great level of detail at this point and more when it takes place in obviously the matches or soccer games.

In relation to the plot and as I mentioned before, this whole environment is completely immersed in the field of soccer as such, showing us a somewhat different dynamic for a change, in which places our protagonist and other players to excel in various ways to challenges and tests that not only require a physical factor if not mental, I feel that it takes advantage of this aspect and personally I like it, making each chapter is also entertaining and very curious about the games and tests, with a specific position which will have to take advantage in such tests, but I prefer that you see it on your own and draw your own conclusions, with this as I would not want to spoil or give too much data.

With respect to the setting, everything that is involved here can be noticed in two factors, the tests and above all the competitiveness, here at the level of competition this is very marked and more when emotions are involved, fixed by wanting to excel and be the best so to speak, I being someone competitive by nature I can say that I love how to play with this, as in any soccer game transmitting those emotions, but this time with a set and variety of people much more radical in that thought, this takes a lot of weight as the plot and the chapters progress, also enjoying a good soundtrack and a very striking opening.

The truth is a series that I recommend if you want to vary a little, those soccer fans will certainly like it and those who do not may perhaps find it attractive, for the aspects I mentioned and other things that perhaps at your convenience and interpretation may seem very good, it would be a matter of giving it a chance. Como ya bien mencione en la introducción de esta reseña, este deporte en particular no me llama la atención y es bastante curioso que lo diga ya que cuando era un adolescente, tuve la oportunidad de jugar con un equipo y yo cubría la posición de arquero o portero, pero bueno las cosas cambian y pasan por algo además de que en ese momento era una persona muy diferente, de la que soy ahora y me gustaba jugarlo más que nada por la cercanía eh interacción que tenia con mis amigos que por otras cosas, pero en fin el punto es que desde ese momento hasta a la actualidad mi interés por esto es mínimo o nulo. Volviendo al anime en cuestión en las redes principalmente la de Facebook en los grupos de anime y series en donde me encuentro vi varios post de los cuales hablaban bien sobre este anime, así que en vez de spoilearme o simplemente no darle una oportunidad le di importancia a los comentarios y el visto bueno de esas personas, y decidí verlo y realmente hasta estas alturas me gusto bastante la verdad debo decir, ya que el concepto y toda la dinámica que conforma este deporte se muestra de una forma algo diferente aquí.

Verán la intención principal, por lo que pude entender y de forma muy simplista y superficial porque tampoco quiero spoilear, es que el concepto de este deporte se intenta modificar siguiendo los lineamientos básicos y establecidos que lo consolidan, motivados por el factor del egoísmo o individualismo un concepto curioso que hace algo de ruido considerando que es un juego que ciertamente se juega en equipo, y si evidentemente es así pero dentro de las posiciones de los 11 jugadores en ambos bandos hay una que destaca considerablemente, y esa es la del atacante o delantero y ver como se utilizo esto para llevar a cabo, una serie de cosas más amplias que orillaran a los personajes a pensar y actuar de una manera algo diferente, ante las pruebas que deban cumplir me gusto bastante la verdad, aun la serie sigue en emisión y tiene hasta la fecha 6 capítulos realmente me estoy sintiendo atraído por leer el manga debido al buen enganche que tuvo conmigo, y ahora viene siendo hora de fraccionar esto parte por parte y hablar de los otros puntos sobre esta serie interesante.

Con el apartado de la animación puedo llegar a decir que tiene una fluidez y un dinamismo muy pero muy bueno, la verdad a mi el aspecto en este punto que mas me llamo al atención ciertamente es el enfoque y el juego que se le da a las expresiones faciales, en este caso enfocándose mucho a los ojos, me gusto mucho la verdad vi algunas imágenes y comparaciones de ese estilo con el manga y realmente hicieron un buen trabajo, además de esto todo lo que compone a la serie por parte de este punto es muy bueno siendo llevado por una fluidez acéptale, y una coloración llamativa aunque como ya mencione hace un momento, siento que lo que toma más peso en este punto son las expresiones faciales y el lenguaje corporal que también me falto mencionar, hay escenas o momentos en los cuales se muestra un gran nivel de detalle en este punto y más cuando se lleva a cabo en obviamente los partidos o encuentros de futbol.

Con relación a la trama y como ya mencione anteriormente todo este entorno está completamente sumergido en el ámbito del futbol como tal, mostrándonos una dinámica algo diferente para variar, en el cual coloca a nuestro protagonista y otros jugadores a sobresalir de diversas formas ante desafíos y pruebas que no solo requieran un factor físico si no mental, siento que se aprovecha mucho de este aspecto y en lo personal me gusta, haciendo que cada capítulo sea además de entretenido muy curioso ante los partidos y las pruebas, con una posición en especifico la cual tendrán que sacarle provecho en tales pruebas, pero eso prefiero que lo vean ustedes por su cuenta y saquen sus propias conclusiones, con esto ya que no quisiera spoilear o dar muchos datos.

Respeto a la ambientación todo lo que esta inmiscuido aquí se podrá notar en dos factores, las pruebas y sobre todo la competitividad, aquí a nivel de competencia se ve muy marcado esto y más cuando se tienen de por medio emociones, fijadas al querer sobresalir y ser el mejor por así decirlo, yo siendo alguien competitivo por naturaleza puedo decir que me encanta como se juega con esto, como en cualquier partido de futbol transmitiendo esas emociones, pero esta vez con un conjunto y variedad de personas mucho más radicales en ese pensamiento, esto toma mucho peso a medida de que la trama y los capítulos avanzan ,gozando también de una banda sonara buena y un opening muy llamativo.

La verdad es una serie que recomiendo si quieren variar un poco, aquellos fanáticos del futbol les gustara ciertamente y aquellos que no quizás puedan encentrarle atractivo, por los aspectos que mencione y otras cosas que quizás a su conveniencia eh interpretación les perezcan muy buenos, ya seria cuestión de darle una oportunidad.
