"A" to "Z": HIVE Movie Challenge [ #R ]

avatar

A challenge for those who like and appreciate the Seventh Art or, just want some cinematic recommendation. Let's do this!

What this is about? It's a movie challenge (Music A to Z Challenge) created by @serialfiller that obeys the alphabetical order where each participant has to remember two movies with the letter of the day (today the letter is R) of any country.

Don't forget about this: A brief comment on the chosen movies is also necessary.

Here are my choices:

Ratatouille (2007)

Everyone has a dream and this movie is basically about that, but the script tries to mix the life of a man (with a low esteem in relation to his profession) together with the life of a rat (fearless to achieve his goal of being a cook) with a very strking and common goal, which is cooking.

This movie is a very captivating animation, with a beautiful story about believing in yourself and the strength of your dreams (whatever happens). The production is very beautiful and the way the script develops the story is really cool to watch. The soundtrack is excellent and warm, creating an even better experience in watching it.

Red Eye (2005)

Despite being a movie negatively criticized by many people (mainly for being in the filmography of the incredible Wes Craven, which is known as one of the masters of modern movie Thriller), the fact is that this suspense has its good moments. I recognize that this work is not among the best in Craven's career, but still, it is worth watching.

The plot has a good atmosphere of tension (mainly those that happen inside the plane), some good twists throughout the projection and a great pair of protagonists (Rachel McAdams and Cillian Murphy). Put it all together with Craven's intense look at the script and you won't be disappointed as much as people say out there.

See ya in the next round, folks!
