"All They Wished Was Faster Horses". Why Hive is so Ahead of Many Crypto Projects...

Decrypt is one of my favorite crypto media outlets. I follow it on twitter, I read articles on their platform on a daily basis and quite often I have quoted it on my posts. Guess what? Decrypt wants to be like Hive/Leofinance... or at least as close as it can get.

They haven't probably thought their next move from this perspective, but what they're doing at this point is something we have here for many years now. Decrypt Launches Its First Token Season With Filecoin and it will use the token to reward users who read their articles.

The concept is definitely not new, as we have a decentralized blockchain with quite a few DApps that are pretty much doing the same and even more.

Well, if it isn't that a Hive wanna be... I don't know if these guys know about Hive, although I will comment on their tweet regarding this news with a link to this post, but we're doing this for quite a few years now. Truth is that if you're just a reader you won't earn anything on Hive, but tell me anyone that has read at least one post on this chain and hasn't left at least a comment. Comments do get curated around here and often times I saw @onealfa pouring tons of Toruk love on some of these. Hence anyone using Hive has the chance to earn tokens.

As much as we praise this blockchain through all sort of posts, like this one for example, many of us don't even realize what a massive potential Hive has. Imagine that Decrypt is just planning on launching a token to reward its user, hoping for a crypto educational program to be rolling through their app and the only use for that token will be to buy NFTs... Welcome to WEB 3, Decrypt, but there's much more to that.

Users all over the world are already educating themselves on crypto with the help of some apps created on the Hive chain for years now, they have the ability to earn through posting as well and even got access to DEFI lately, thanks to CUB DEFI. Not to mention that you can swap the HIVE token to almost anything you wish and buy yourself everything you want, not just NFTs...

The world is heading towards the tokenization of everything and it's an unstoppable process, I'm 100% sure of that. Luckily for many of us that are dedicated users of the Hive blockchain we're in the early adopters wagon. The NFT craze has just started, with people even selling farts for $85 as a NFT and despite the lets say lack of intrinsic value of some of these non fungible tokens, this trend is a door opener.

As the world moves towards a digital era a lot of stuff will be sold and tokenized through this world of crypto and Hive seems to be a step ahead of many of the crypto projects out there. All it needs is a bit of marketing and before you know it we'll be the Facebook of the WEB 3.0 on steroids. We already even have our own DIEM. Hive already has NFTs, it has paid content creators and curators, it pays interest on locking funds, has its own DEFI platform, multiple second layer tokens and projects built on top of it and it feels that we're still at the base foundation level with this House of Hive.

Soon we will have a microblogging dedicated app as well and that's gonna be massive... MASSIVE.

I might sound a bit over hyped here, but when looking around at what others are doing and aim to achieve and what we already do around here for years now, it feels like we're sitting on pile of gold. $10 HIVE is more than plausible and achievable and although it can be a bit hard to comprehend where would that may come from, I'll give you just one hint: look at Bitcoin.

Blockchain based decentralized social media platforms that are censorship free and a mean to earn one crypto, and deal with crypto at the level of Hive will become a hype as well and sooner than later capital will start pouring on us. Crypto is revolutionizing almost any sector of life that has a minimal connection with the online world. If NFTs have gotten this far, why wouldn't this new type of social medias become huge? It's just a matter of time and luckily we're on a well prepared and engined boat for this ride.

Imagine Elon Musk throwing a tweet about HIVE. Imagine that...
