LEO distribution . How many users receive LEO everyday ?
Good morning to everyone , I hope you all are doing good .
Today I would like to share some data and stats about LEO distribution . For any token to thrive , it needs mass adoption . The number of people holding a particular token has a great impact on the price of the token .
Say for example it is better for a token if 1000 users hold it than 100 users .
Today let us take a look for the month of April , how much LEO is being issued everyday and how many users are getting LEO .
LEO distribution
From April 1st to April 22nd 2021 -
Total LEO distributed
- 171451.202 LEO
Number of users who received LEO
- 2531 users
Datewise LEO issued
Number of users LEO was issued to - datewise
Since the LEO is issued once every 23 hours , every now and then there is a double payment . I have made sure if there is indeed double payment , it should be counted once ( for number of users stats ) .

So out of 171451 LEO issued during this time , 79934 was issied to top 25 .
But top 2 accounts are LEO team official accounts which are used for distributing LEO to various users . So if I remove that , @onealfa.leo leads the chart .

- 8.81 LEO
Number of users who received LEO more than average ( 8.81 ) on 21st April
I have taken 21st April and not 22nd because there was double payment on 22nd .
100 users out of 770 users got more than 8.81 LEO on 21st April.

Yeah but they deserve it in my opinion .
@onealfa and others believed in this project and held on to the tokens and didn't sell while others did .

This is really crazy, more than 600 leo in a day, which is close to $400 in a day. I am wondering if i can make so much of money in a week to have a good living in my country. This is really a big number. Hope we soon see other communities like #ctp and #pob providing similar huge returns
@onealfa is a popular account on almost every tribe. Its the account of a curator which votes for a good and quality content, when i posted my actifit posts i have seen the upvotes coming from @onealfa many times. There is a different tribe account like @onealfa.leo or @onealfa.pob which curates lots of good content
It certainly has the potential , since it is community driven just like LEO is , we will see how it goes in the future.

I like that the number of users getting LEO is fairly consistent. The only difference is the amount of LEO being issued.

I was surprised to see that there are so few accounts receiving LEO. Especially as there must be even fewer individuals. It's a bit of a reminder of how easy it is to think things are a lot bigger than they are when you're part of a very passionate community.

I agree. The number says 770 users but I think it's about 450-500 users .
This is good and bad because it shows we have a lot of room to grow

That is some very interesting data. Looks like it was about 10% of the people issued Leo were unique users versus the total number distributed. Thanks for sharing this! That is cool that you are able to aggregate the data that way. I have a feeling my report would be quite sad...

Can you make a chart on the number of unique users receiving LEO weekly, then maybe monthly? It certainly looks like the daily users receiving LEO is around 750. I am wondering how much higher is the number weekly or monthly. Thanks!

Sorry for the stupid question, but I'm fairly new to Leo. How do you get LEO? Is it only from contributing (posting)? I'm not one for writing, but I enjoy reading the posts and commenting when I can add to the conversation.
