Brave who are the makers of the privacy-focused Brave Browser has recently launched their long-awaited search engine in Beta and I absolutely love it. I love it because Brave has assured me that they will take an approach that is far away from the likes of Google and others.

We all know how Google carefully surveils us for our data so that they can target us with specified ads but in the case of Brave they have developed their Search Engine on an independent index that will not be tracking every keystroke you make. Now I do know that building an Index from scratch is not a simple job so Brave has also included a Google Fallback Mixing option which means you can get Google search results as well if Brave Search is not sufficient enough for you.

If we get down to numbers Brave has a lot to do as currently, Google owns around 90% of the Market of Search Engines so we can't just expect Brave to have a flying start but what I am glad is the fact that there will Indeed be an option for me to be more private with my searches now.

Just so you know if you are using a Brave Browser you can just go to settings and click on Search Engine and choose Brave Search Beta from the Dropdown menu and try it out for yourself. I have definitely changed my Search Engine and I will be trying this out for at least a week before making a review of how it works. I am really looking forward to how much Brave improves their Search Engine from here on out.
