We Are All Satoshi

Happy Friday everyone. It looks like summer is just about over. Fall is upon us all which frankly couldn’t come any sooner. Now I can get my daily exercise without the unnecessary dehydration.

Well I just watched an unveiling of the Satoshi Nakamoto statue in Budapest. Suffice it say it was pretty epic. I love the hoodie idea by the way. Initially they were going to have Satoshi wear a 1920’s style hat. (Horrible idea)

The bald look along with the shining glare is very symbolic. As you gaze at the statue you see yourself. Perfect allegory considering that we are all Satoshi. Maybe someday I’ll go for a visit.

My spidey senses are once again going off like crazy. I get a sense that something far worse is brewing in China concerning Evergrande. This giant Real Estate entity is in big trouble. Not to mention this is a situation that could have global implications.

Bail out or no bail out will be the next move. Yet, many in China may be second guessing the system as it exists. Again, when you lose a lot of money all bets are off. Although China is focused on banning everything crypto the people will have to decide for themselves.

In any financial crisis a life boat is always needed. It is one of the reason’s for bitcoin’s invention. Sadly, many have lost in this Evergrande debacle. Although, the writing has been on the wall for quite sometime.

This financial nonsense along with the legacy system shenanigans eventually will lead to further blockchain adoption. I think people are getting tired of working for little pay. Not to mention being ripped off via loss of purchasing power. Money itself has changed.

Now it’s up to us to change each other. We can’t change the legacy system no matter what we do. Your vote doesn’t matter. Yelling and dividing each other won’t change anything. Posting on Twitter and arguing won’t change anything.

But changing the type of money you use will change everything. The legacy system contains tentacles that reach globally. The lifeblood of this system is fiat. This money is NOT controlled by any of you.

On the contrary it controls you instead. Where you work, how much your worth, and your place in society. And you are forced to you use it for exchange of goods and services. Not to mention your labor.

So we change what money is and the world changes forever. The corruption, greed, and avarice vanish once abundance replaces scarcity. Human nature has always been this way. People tend to not steal when their basic needs are met.

It’s such a simple formula that even a child could understand it. And that is why blockchain is here. Certain people simply cannot be trusted to do the right thing. Again, the whole human nature thing.

Well, this has been a fun write for me. I’m always reminded to enjoy the journey and not take things too seriously (including myself). The process of change both for blockchain and myself has been tough. Yet, the payoff for all of us should be worth the trip.
