Sold my VITE holdings on Binance

Nearly 6 months back, @udezee introduced many of us to VITE wallet. When he was initially explaining it, I did not have any good idea about it. I was thinking it would just be a scam coin like everything else consuming our time. But I with half mind, I installed that app on my mobile and started claiming free dialy bonus coins. I was not very religious about claiming the coins everyday but whenever I felt like claiming, I did. If I remember it correct, for some daily tasks, we were able to claim around 20 - 25 VITE tokens during the early days.

I guess those were the days before VITE was launched. I was just doing that as a daily task without having any idea about what VITE was all about. Today when I was trying to cleanup all the apps on my mobile, I noticed that I had this appplication saying idle without any use on my mobile. When I was planning to uninstall this application from my mobile, I noticed that I had a balance that was worth 22 $. It was actually showing only 15 $ earlier. Then I wanted to check if there was any option available to cash out those coins.

During exploration, to my surprise, I found the above on Binance. The coin was listed on Binance and I also found that the coins had a decent pump recently. I did not want to miss the opportunity. I immediately started looking for options to move my coins from VITE wallet to Binance. Initially it was not easy. There were multiple VITE wallets there in the app and it was little bit confusing. There was one that was normal VITE, there was one that was VITE ERC20 token wallet, then another was exchange wallet.

After all the confusions, I tried to do a transfer to another VITE wallet and then realized that I had to first add my wallet address in the accounts section. I went to Binance, copied the Vite wallet address from Binance and added that address in the account section. After that I had to go to transfer screen and transfer it to the added that I added in the accounts section. MEMO was important. Binance gave me a memo for the transfer and I added that memo during transfer.

The transfer was seamless and within a few minutes, I saw the funds on my Binance wallet. I did not wait any further, I immediately went to VITE/USDT pair and sold my 700 VITE for around 23$. For me as a Hive user, I find this interesting because it is a free 100 HIVE token for me for the efforts I put in clicking the claim buttons every day around 6 months back. If I had known that this would really give a proper profit, I would done the claiming religious everyday increasing my chance of getting the tokens. But 700 VITE is also not a bad thing.

I also realized that I had staked around 135 VITE tokens for the purpose of transactions. I guess there was a requirement that I should stake some tokens to do transactions. I'm going to leave it there for now. Let's see how far the pump can go. For now I guess 23$ was a good profit from VITE.
