Greetings friends!

Every traveler, one day, comes across things that are incomprehensible to him, or aspects of life that are incomprehensible to him.

Different attitudes towards food, clothing, architecture, all this and much more may seem strange, curious, incomprehensible, and even frightening when it comes to eating insects and living beetle larvae.

Even in the world of finance, there is reason to think about it. We are used to seeing round coins, but in some countries, for example, in India, the coins may be in the shape of a flower, while in other countries, you will see coins that can be used as beads, because there is a hole in the coin.

Even puzzle lovers can have fun collecting a coin consisting of three or more pieces, and such a coin exists.

Many questions arise when considering postage stamps.

Different shapes, different perforations, printing methods, the purpose of postage stamps and different editions.

Yes, even the circulation of postage stamps can become a mystery, for me, for sure.

Yesterday, you saw a Posthorn stamp of the Kingdom of Norway issued in 129,918,108 copies.

Today, I want to present one more postage stamp from this series Posthorn, issued in the same year, 1969, with a face value of 20 Norwegian øre.

The circulation of this stamp is 101,620,586.

There is another postage stamp with a face value of 15 Norwegian øre, but it is not in my collection.

So, I do not understand the need to issue a postage stamp with a face value of 20 Norwegian øre, with a colossal circulation of a postage stamp with a face value of 10 Norwegian øre.

Really, a person who came to the post office could not buy two postage stamps with a face value of 10 Norwegian øre?

In 1969, the population of Norway was 3,846,176.

230, 000, 000 postage stamps for 3,846,176 people, it is, taking into account the fact that in addition to this series of postage stamps, other postage stamps were issued with a large circulation.

For me, this is a mystery, but very interesting.

Let's take a look at this postage stamp.
