Dragoma Another P2E Rug Pull

avatar

In todays edition of YIYL we take a look at the latest in popular grifternomics and that is the play to earn market. They claim to have figured out how to combine GameFi and SocialFi elements, into a viable ecosystem that can run once the VC capital dries up, even though thats total horse shit, people without critical thinking skills will fall for it.

A prime example of people who know it's all bullshit was Polygon-based Web3 application Dragoma stole its users’ assets.

Dragoma was another move-to-earn game similar to Solana STEPN which also shit the bed. DMA and its native token pitched itself as a Web3 lifestyle game, it allowed players to earn the DMA token for performing several activities ranging from training a dragon to pet combat.

Non-fungible tokens play an integral part in the game. The Dragon eggs hatch after 40 days of the player walking 500 meters daily. The beta version of Dragoma world was set to launch at the end of August.

People were excited and wanted to get in early as is the case with shitcoins and seed funded a project to the tune of millions before even seeing a finished product lol.

Dragoma

The Polygon-based Web3 lifestyle fitness app, which combines GameFi and SocialFi elements, has stolen assets from users. The extent of the rug pull is unknown; however, over 5700 wallet addresses held Dragoma, according to data on Polygonscan. One crypto community member lost $10,000 to the rug pull.

According to reports a total of over $420,000 USDT and 880,000 MATIC were rugged from the project.

Rug pull on Dragoma plummets 99.8%

DMA the native token of this projects price dropped 99.8% as the project was rugged all confirmed by PeckShield. DMA’s value fell sharply from $1.8 to less than $0.0023 in the last 4 hours.

The popular blockchain security firm, identified a rug pull on a game in the Polygon Network, Dragoma trading on Polygon is worth nothing and stolen funds have been deposited to centralized exchanges to be washed and traded.

The funniest part of it all is Dragoma’s token DMA was listed on MEXC, a crypto exchange, on August 7. It just shows centralised exchanges don't give a shit and because their revenue is eaten by on chain trading they are lowering their standards for what they are willing to list and exposing normies to all sorts of scams.

You are the game and you're being played

The game's website is currently inaccessible, and its Telegram channel has been deleted. Other social media platforms like Twitter have also been deleted as is the case with rug pullers looking to memory hole their scam.

So all users can do is cry to themselves and smash their heads against the wall as their wallets hold a useless token.

Congratulations you played yourself.

Incredible, in a very short time even this token has lost value ... it reminded me a little of the story of TERRA blockchain. In this bear market, many leave their pens, others take advantage of it to conclude the cycle of their cryptocurrency scam

There is a rug pull for everyone in this space, if you like gaming, gambling, metaverse, art, music, sport, they will find a way to get you to believe their bullshit and you will get rugged
