Feast or Famine

When everything has been decimated by the plummeting market you have to look at the positives. There are some especially if you are on Hive as just by staying busy everyday you are still moving forward.

The most productive time for growth that I have experienced on Hive was when the price was down and today it bought back some good memories. My vote has never been a massive one, but today equates to 5 Hive or close to it which is 50 Hive per day 25 for my account growth and 25 for all the other posts I support. Like everything good in life that has any sense of value it takes patience in order to grow.

I look at this period as a feast and not something terrible as the growth opportunity that has been presented is truly wonderful. When Hive has more value you earn less Hive even though your dollar value of the posts is up. I would much rather earn more Hive for another 4 or 6 months or however long we are down in the doldrums. I just hope everyone sees it the same way and remains active as we all know what happened the last time around. The same faces carried this place for over a year as the community kind of vanished and this is the opposite of what should be happening. Crazy to think swarms invade the blockchain when Hive has value and is like the retail investor buying at the peak. If you are going to make anything it is now and not when Hive is at $5. Humans are strange creatures who tend to get many things wrong and that is just another prime example.

The last time I was in this position was back in January and you do tend to forget the power of having stake as it makes a big difference on how quickly you can grow, but also how much support you can give others. The beauty about this place which includes all the tribes is the value of your vote providing the support. I would hate to be living off crypto and then something like this happens and must be like a rug pull to some degree. One day you are comfortable and the next you are on emergency rations due to the volatility.

I still see Hive as having a $4 value as that was the price when I first signed up and it is not something I can dismiss. At some point even though it is 20c today it will be above that number and doing a 20 x from here is not something to rule out. For those cursing the cheap prices I feel the pain but look at it as another opportunity to grow and how many more times will we see these prices again. We all have our Hive and Leo plus whatever other tokens like CUB etc so it is not all bad as we are in a stronger position than we were 6 months ago.
