What if the first blockchain I heard about is Hive?

Today I entertained my thoughts a little and noticed this question in my mind stream: What if the first blockchain I heard about is Hive?

My immediate answer is that then... I wouldn't have suffered as much loss and anguish I had in the main crypto market.

This is a serious conversation that I actually needed.

And one that the fortunate newcomer into crypto reading this in the future would probably thank me for.

You are welcome!

  1. Feeless transactions
If I were just starting out in crypto and I heard about Hive first, I would be amazed by the feeless transaction model Hive is offering. Yes, this system exists, and it works. For me, I had paid way too much for gas in ways that I do not understand. With Hive, nothing of that would happen.

  2. Dangers in the wild west
The list of projects on the Coinmarketcap site is entertaining to some extent, but it is also full of dangers (or shitcoins!). It is not worth my time and effort looking through them, I realize now, too late. Simply put, looking for gems from the list of thousands of tokens to invest in, in the hope of 100X, is foolish. If I had just focused on Hive and its top altcoins like Leo, I would have been safer, or at least better shielded from shitcoins.

  3. Social aspects of Hive
Lastly, if I had stumbled up Hive first, my knowledge about the blockchain revolution would have been better honed by the quality Hivers' posts and interaction. Interaction is in fact the keyword! To put it plainly, people in Hive will share tips on investment that are likely to lead me to avoid foolish actions. It is just the nature of Hive community, and I can't put a finger on it.

In conclusion, I think my crypto life would have been different if I encountered Hive first.

I am sharing this because a lot more people in the future would likely get into serious crypto by owning Hive first. This is judging from the way Hive and Leo Finance are growing, and how people are more cognizant of the ploys of the shitcoins as we progress.

If you are reading this as a new crypto investor/user and starting from Hive, congratulations!

P/S: This is not financial advice, and please do your own due diligence before investing.

If you read this far... and if you are a like-minded Hiver who is on the path to learning more about Hive and crypto investing, and if you like to be tagged when I write such posts, I welcome you to leave a comment below and let me know. We can form an alliance to support each other's growth.

You know I was looking and hoping for something like this and refused to believe it when I first heard about it. A year later I was ready to dive in and write my first post.

We have such a knowledge-base of people willing to share their insights on any number of subjects that every day is an oppertunity to learn and grow. I'm so glad I found Hive! :)

Congratulations to me then ;). Hive is one of the first blockchains I've found and interacted with. I think for me the biggest upside is its astounding capabilities (e.g feeless transactions).

Wow! Congratulations! And a little envious of you.

Stay the course. Too many shitcoins with pump and dump out there.

Be contented, and be safe.

Don't worry, the bear market will flush them out. The only altcoins I invest in are within the Hive blockchain.

Thank you! Means a lot.

I wouldn't have suffered as much loss and anguish I had in the main crypto market.

I say the same thing too.

For me, Hive was my first, but in the idea of not putting everything in one basket I decided to venture out, I might have been better off just staying with one basket.
