How to get rich slowly on the HIVE blockchain!

avatar

I recently went to my quarterly crypto lunch with a group of us that all started crypto together back in 2017. Most of the group has slowly converted to being BTC Maximalists. A couple others are still playing around with a bunch of coins like me and then there is the one retired dude who made his money by cashing out most of his 401k and buying ETH at $52 and sold at $2500. I do not know what he spends his money on now but he is mainly out of crypto and owns a bunch of rentals that he makes his income from.

I was asked if I was still on HIVE. This group could never see the light. There was some jealous feelings about splinterlands and the money I have made there.

This got me thinking this week about how you can start to earn a little more on hive than you have in the past. There are tons of ways but here are a few that I have seen work over and over.

MAKE MORE COMMENTS -

This gets your name out there. It gets you noticed. It helps you make crypto friends. I need to spend more time doing this. I always make new connections when I do and they have helped me along my journey here. Sometime you even get upvotes and that turns into hvie and hbd. GO COMMENT MORE!

FIND A DISCORD YOU LOVE! -

When I first started on hive I would have lefts ASAP if it would not have been for the silver gold stackers. They got me involved with posts, contests, games, and lotteries. It was fun to hand out with them and they were kind to let anyone one join. I still post and chat with them a little but. I found some great friends on there and bought a lot of silver from some of the OGs of that group.

The great thing about both of these ideas above is that they take not money to do. Just go to work and spend a little time.

Good luck. Go work and earn some coin!!!

Coin will help you when we start going up in price in the next 1-2000 months.

Commenting is of immense importance in social media. Unless you are known to others, there is no way for earning handsome amount.

The retired dude has really made big profits but I don't think that crypto is in that shape any more. There was a time when crypto was a rich quick formula but it is not the same now. It is a slow and steady process.

I have the same conversations with those that didn't see the light on Hive and steem back in the day. At the time steem appealed to me because of its SEO value and the fact that I could earn without risking fiat. I'm still here, not steem lol.

One of the things I was always into to earn a little bit more was @actifit and now @risingstargame. I'm a bit enthralled by Rising Star at the moment because I earn without getting votes.

Both of those are great and do not cost anything either to jump in!

yeah, that's the best part. It takes a little time get profitable on Rising Star but once you do it's got some pretty incredible ROI. I just became a starbits millionaire and those missions are basically worth 3 hive a day!

I make quite a bit of comment but I don't really see that much value in Discord. Although I do visit it sometimes due to the way projects use it as a method of communication.

As I live far away from my hometown, every summer I do "gatherings" with my friends where we talk about our lives in general... They know that I'm in crypto, and they said like 10 times that they would like to jump in... When I told them similar things like you (start slowly, comment, and see how it goes), that was already "too much consumed time" for them... We will see what happens this summer... lol

I have picked this post on behalf of the @OurPick project and it will be highlighted in the next post!

Hive is a great way of earning, with ever expanding ways of earning.

Commenting seems to be the best way to get introduced to several tribes. It gives you a chance to see what type of content the group generally makes and supports.

It's remarkable what people think of as far as crypto and "get rich quick" type stuff. People work dead end jobs or work jobs for the same company or industry for decades or their whole lives. What's so different about doing some side work on something like Hive? To me that's what this feels like, work that's also fun! Maybe I'm too optimistic on it lol

I made one moon type investment and I'm still glad that I did, snagged a top 10 coin for fractions of what it's at now, although I wish it was Bitcoin, I'm still glad that I got it. With Hive, I'm glad that I've been able to do what I have over time and really maximized my earnings. Last year I powered up 4,000 Hive just from selling Splinterlands stuff alone! It's incredible the opportunity that we have. That's not even counting the in-game assets that I've got like gold foil legendary stuff.

In all, sadly I don't have anyone that's into crypto like I am and that's a shame. I've told several people about it but no one wants to listen. One day I'll be able to look back (hopefully) and tell them "wtf you should've paid attention to me!" but I don't think I'll even talk to any of those people any longer as it is.

I think hive is set up well thanks to splinterlands. It’s helped me a bunch too. Let’s hope the future is bright.
