Volatility Increase! BTC breaks to the downside, Dollar strengthens once again

avatar

We have been waiting for the markets to move, as a narrowing band had fallen over practically everything in crypto for the past few days. But now BTC has once again taken a tumble, and I have noticed USD is increasing rapidly against our local currency (the COP) since reaching an intermediate low just two days ago.

Grid Bot Eats Volatility

Could this be the legendary 'final squeeze' for the US dollar? Whether or not it is final, it seems the squeeze is back on, and the Hong Kong Dollar peg is on the chopping block, along with other dollar pegged currencies. Dollar denominated debt is still a huge issue around the world, and like the 'Bitcoin Dominance' factor in the crypto-space, the world currently has a 'Dollar Dominance' that keeps it strong.....until it doesn't.

Only time will tell whether this squeeze will approxiate a 61% return to the recent high. If anyone out there has any dollars left, it might be time to consider what you want to be holding when the music stops.

Not that stocks or equities in general are looking great right now.

And a case could be made that there is a bubble in real estate.

Perhaps one of the best investments to make right now would be some planters and potting soil:

This way, after the next leg lower, we will have something to tend to and work on (and maybe even eat!) while we wait for new all time highs in the market.

This is not advice. This is history, with some satire. Do your own homework.

Honestly, in my feed on LEO the other day, one post said 'BTC looking bullish' - here's some lines I drew on a chart

Two posts down - 'BTC looking to test downward resistance' - here's some lines I drew on a chart....

At least you're just posting about history!

Think I'll hold off opening up my Blockfolio this morning, maybe just focus on my feed here instead, maybe Hive not lEO!
