Noise.cash's announcement is not discouraging, but rather proud.

If you still don't know the hype we're having about Noise.Cash's recent announcement, you can click here to read it and draw your own conclusion. I'm not going to say what's in the ad, that's what Trumpman and filotasriza3 already talked about. But I'll make a very brief summary so as not to leave you in the air.

Noise.cash in their announcement talked about what the bio-robots were doing on the platform, since with only 3 months of being launched, they argue that 96% of the publications are total garbage that only seeks BCH at any cost, and in part they are right because if you check the main feed you will see a lot of nonsense garbage or as I say beggars asking for tips.

Society is fed up with those who want things without making an effort, and that's fine to be banned from all platforms whether decentralized or centralized. But something that did make me think a lot about Noise.cash as a social platform was that they also included promotions from other sites like leofinance.io or hive.blog as junk.

Our goal is Bitcoin Cash adoption and that is what we want to sponsor. We do NOT want to sponsor the promotion of competing sites that promote their own cryptos or other cryptos. You are still free to talk about them, of course, we just don't see why we should sponsor it with FreeTips.

I took the liberty of accentuating the important parts, going back to what I was coming from, this is kind of a threat very similar to what happens on twitter, where they constantly block or ban links to platforms like Hive or 3speak, but then the CEO appears as a complete hypocrite saying that he loves decentralized platforms and even wants to create one.

In my country there is a saying: "They don't tell you the dog but they show you the bone". It means that they are not telling you directly that you are something, but they tell you subtly. And that is what happens with noise.cash, because after a clear and hard warning against junk content they say that you can still continue to promote competing platforms but you will not be eligible for tips.

And why in the title I say that I am proud of these measures that have been imposed on noise.cash?.

Well as I commented to @filotasriza3 in his publication, this means that it is doing a great promotion that has already reached a point of annoying someone to say this, and is that if you check the chamber of leofinance so far has 450 subscriptions and in a very active day are published more than 50 promotions Leofinance but this is without counting the other promotions that are made outside the chamber of leofinance that are many more, so like a big bee hive attacking a bear, all of us have done so much damage that the bear got annoyed and started attacking.

I wouldn't be surprised if this posting was the first of many, as later on you will see how they will become more specific and prohibitive, so it will be your choice to stay or go. I personally will continue to post here for several reasons:

  1. I don't really care much about tips, as if I can get someone who sees my promo post interested in leofinance and gets involved it's very satisfying.

  2. I can't do much with the BCH I have, since the wallet requires a very high withdrawal amount, which I think is silly, because it's money I earned, why can't I use it as I please? And another thing I don't like about the tip withdrawal is that they force you to use very dubious wallets, so I don't count as safe the BCH I have which is currently 0.03.

  3. If I get banned I don't care as I will find more ways to keep promoting leofinance and hive on other platforms with even more users and attention.

But you, what do you think about this decision Noise.cash has taken? Let me know in the comments.

I think you have an interesting point of view on this. I haven't considered it before.

But anyway, I still think they are trying to build on a concept that's outdated.

In regard to the low quality posts not being tipped I'm ok with. And I'll leave it at that.

not getting tipped for promotion of outside networks... Well,

  1. it's not really a decentralized platform. So its not really a community owned.

  2. With (1) in mind, I find it more like a negotiating term. I'll briefly say, That we here on hive can offer a service in exchange for letting us have those free tips or maybe something different? I'm not sure what that latter could be but I wouldn't put it past impossible.

We can still promote in a certain way, just don't expect tips.

I plan on still using noise.cash, albeit it won't be for promotion of my blog anymore boohoo but I ain't going to pass up yhe free $ over my ego over Hive.

Hive is still better IMO. and my opinion is shite when the graphs and numbers prove it IS better. Who can beat decentralized social media?

not noise.cash Corpussy pretending to be Twitter/Instagram.

Just keep stacking them free tips while you can. Or if you don't want them I'll take them lol.
