I was a smoker for 12+ years and have been smoke free for 8+ years. That money has since gone to investments and more useful things. It's uncanny how delusional we can be with vices. Every time I tried quitting I would always face the same dilemma in that the one thing that could help me quit was the very thing I was trying to quit. The mindfck of quitting is like that though. It's not just cigarettes. People will spend 5 bucks a day at a coffee shop on something they could make at home for pennies, and then complain about the price of gas or wonder why they're broke. We're definitely creatures of habit, and we don't like changing our habits.
