Look What We Did in 2 Days: Leofinance Witness climbed from 28 to 26 Place

Today i am quite excited, excited for 2 reasons, but i am only gonna talk about the first in this post, maybe i am gonna write another one later who knows?. I am gonna talk again about the Leofinance Witness.

I know some of you may get bored with this kind of post but you have to take into account that witnesses are quite important for the whole Hive ecosystem. That means that they are important both for Hive itself as well as all the second layers Dapps like Leo for example.

In general, i may have created a couple of posts around asking all of you to vote for the Leofinance witness and why you should do so. Other lions have done that successfully as well.

Many people are totally unaware of the witnesses, especially new members and others had cast their votes maybe 6 months or more ago and never changed them. Take a look below at what i achieved through some of my older posts regarding that matter.

As you can i am doing my part and bring awareness and i also tried to provide everyone that had no clue what a witness is or does some additional info. I also made a quick guide to help them cast their votes. You can find that post below!

Now i am not the only one that's helping. A couple of hours after my post, @geekgirl published one as well. It's really interesting that both of us had a different approach on the matter.

In my posts as i said above i tried to bring awareness to all the newbies that got into Leofinance these days and have no clue about the witnesses that's why i made the guide as well.

@geekgirl did something different that's even more helpful. She made a list with stakeholders of 10K HP and higher who haven't voted for Leofinance. Her post was quite the success and i think of our posts made that 2 spot climb possible! Below you can find the post!

Can you see what can we achieve together? In just 2 days we managed that much. We managed to get Leofinance witness to 26 position. A thing i don't know and i need your engligment, is what's happening with those witnesses that have over a week to produce a block. Below is an example.

Now i have counted a total of 15 witnesses that are like this, 13 of which are in the TOP 100. So my question is this: Does that mean that Leofinance is actually in 11th position or 13th? Or that's irrelevant to the rankings and they are in the 26th one?

Very good initiative.
A while ago there was also an initiative to inform people that had votes on witnesses that weren't active anymore.

I think witnesses should get more attention on the diffetent frontends.
A reminder once a month could help to trigger people to vote or check their current votes.
