In this article I want to continue with an idea related to my previous article on savings, which refers to the opportunities we may have in front of us and how we should be prepared to make the most of them.

There is a recommendation from Warren Buffet that is very much in line with this, and that that refers to why we should make the most of the best opportunities we have, and we can see this in the way he invested in Apple in 2016, as it represents almost half of his investment capital, and which turned out to be a very good idea because of the rise in the stock price.

And by this I do not mean placing half of our capital in any stock, but in excellent opportunities that we may have in front of us, and to be able to do this, we must be prepared, either in capital or in knowledge, but also in varied resources that may be necessary and only in this way we can make the most of it.

I think that luck is a combination of opportunity and preparation, where the opportunity presents itself but if we are prepared to take it, we can generate impressive wealth or achieve an ambitious goal with ease, but this happens when we have what is necessary to take the opportunity.

Preparation also refers to being able to see what is an opportunity and compare it with what is not an opportunity, and in this way we can identify what we should do and do it quickly, and not waste time with what could be just noise, and this refers in investments to when we buy in a crisis or a crash that makes excellent assets go down in price and we can take advantage of discounts.

And it also happens when we have the necessary resources to be able to take the process of a major construction in a city, or the presentation of a business plan to a potential investor that we meet on the street, among other opportunities that may pass in front of us and that we must be prepared in many ways to be able to take them.

There is another phrase that I think fits well with what I wanted to say and that is that we should always go out on the street dressed as if we were going to meet the love of our life.

En este artículo quiero continuar con una idea relacionada con mi artículo anterior sobre el ahorro, y que se refiere a las oportunidades que podemos tener en frente a nosotros y como debemos estar preparados para sacarles el mayor provecho.

Hay una recomendación de Warren Buffet que se ajusta mucho a esto, y es que debemos sacarle el mayor provecho a las mejores oportunidades que tengamos, y esto lo podemos ver en la forma en que invirtió en Apple en el 2016, ya que representa casi la mitad de su capital de inversión, y que resultó ser una muy buena idea por el alza en el precio de las acciones.

Y con esto no me refiero a colocar la mitad de nuestro capital en cualquier acción, sino en oportunidades excelentes que podamos tener al frente de nosotros, y para poder hacer esto, debemos estar preparados, ya sea en capital o en conocimiento, pero también en recursos variados que puedan ser necesarios y solo de esta forma podremos sacarle el mayor provecho.

Pienso que la suerte es una combinación entre oportunidad y preparación, donde la oportunidad se presenta pero si estamos preparados para tomarla, se puede generar una riqueza impresionante o poder lograr un objetivo ambicioso con facilidad, pero esto ocurre cuando tenemos aquello que es necesario para tomar la oportunidad.

La preparación también se refiere a poder ver lo que es una oportunidad y compararla con lo que no es una oportunidad, y de esta manera podremos identificar lo que debemos hacer y hacerlo rápido, y no perder el tiempo con lo que podría ser solo ruido, y esto se refiere en las inversiones a cuando compramos en una crisis o un crash que hace que los activos excelentes bajen de precio y podamos aprovechar descuentos.

Y también ocurre cuando tenemos los recursos necesarios para poder llevar el proceso de una construcción importante en una ciudad, o la presentación de un plan de negocios a un posible inversionista que conozcamos en la calle, entre otras oportunidades que puedan pasar frente a nosotros y que debemos estar preparados de muchas maneras para poder tomarlas.

Hay otra frase que pienso que se ajusta bien a esto que quería expresar y es que siempre debemos salir a la calle vestidos como si fuéramos a conocer al amor de nuestra vida.
