Twitter's problem became Youtube's as well / El problema de Twitter pasó a ser de Youtube también

One of the most important controversies of the last few days has been the takeover of several celebrity Twitter accounts by scammers who made posts offering a "Bitcoin Giveaway" in which they received 0.1 minimum and returned 0.2 BTC in the form of charitable action, it is assumed that when someone sent money to the wallet displayed in the post, you never received the money back.

But this wasn't the only controversy these days, as there was also a Youtube advertising campaign in which a group of videos advertised on their platform showed a talk given by famous people like Steve Wozniak, Robert Kiyosaki, Vitalik Butterin, among other current celebrities, and next to the video was a QR code for an Ethereum or Bitcoin wallet.

This situation placed Youtube in a situation of multiple demands that it had to face, where the first one was from the Ripple's CEO to which Youtube responded by referring to a law in which they are not responsible for the content of third parties, and after this first demand, they received the demand of 17 other people (among them Steve Wozniak).

Last night I was looking for videos to spend some time at night and within the suggestions I could see a "Live" from Coinbase, so I wanted to see what it was about and I could see that it would refer to the same videos that were referred to in the advertised videos but this time in a real account.

What's interesting about this time is that we can see how the scammers took over the account of another real person with a lot of followers and didn't worry about deleting the previous videos, so it's easy to know that it was a scam but it's still important to know how they were able to get control of this account so they could change the profile and create a Live that could be in the recommendation of several people.

I hope that soon Youtube will face the situation to avoid more scams but for now it is very important to be aware of what we see on social networks because we will not know 100% if that is true or false what we see, and always keep in mind that there is no such thing as free money.
