ASK LEO: WHICH MARKET SHOULD WE BE MORE EXCITED ABOUT? BEAR MARKET OR BULL MARKET?

Hello everyone,

Apparently everyone is talking about this bear market which happens to have been going on for a while now and it got me thinking and asking questions about which one is best. Bull market or Bear market?

For starters let's even talk about what these markets are really. I decided to do some readings about them and I came up with these simple definitions.
Bear market is the period whereby the value of stock or currency (cryptocurrency in this case) falls by 20percent and above. This is usually caused when there is a little fall in the value of the currency and investors begin to lose faith in it by refusing to invest more or even pulling out. This cause the value/price to even fall further. And when it keeps on falling, it eventually leads to a bear market. As we all know the animal Bear swipes it’s paws downwards, so does the charts go downwards during this time and that’s where the name Bear market emerges from.

The ull market on this other hand is ofcus the opposite of a bear market. It is when the investors have so much confidence in the currency that the value starts rising. This happens when the economy is strong and there are lot of investors investing in that currency. As we all also know that the bull thrusts it’s horns upwards, so also are the charts during the bull market and thus the irigin of its name.

Comparing these two together, it’s natural for people to prefer the bull market to the bear market. We all want to make our profits quick and the Bull market makes that possible. That’s because of the high value of the currency at that moment. What we are forgetting is that the bear market is a place and time of opportunity. In my own opinion, the bear market period should be appreciated more compared to the bull market. It gives people the opportunity to invest especially people new to the crypto world. For example, I was able to take advantage of this period to help my mum and brothers invest in the cryptocurrency and im so glad I was able to. If it had been the bull market period, this would not have been possible. To me, bear market period is a period of sowing while the bull market period is a period of reaping. They both go hand in hand. It's high time people tend to embrace the Bear period rather than complaining.

The best thing to do is for us to learn and study these periods, get used to it so much that we’re able to maximize the profit. I used us because i myself still have a lot of kearning to do. If the knowledge is well circulated, the level of complaints about this ongoing Bear market won’t be as much as this.

In summary two things need to be gotten clearer. Firstly invest as much as you can during the Bear market and hold. Stop feeling bad because of this bear market, instead take advantage of it. These two period works hand in hand and they are important to the success of cryptocurrencies.
