My hive story; hive my hero

I want to thank @snook and @whatsup for bringing up this nice way of telling everyone our hive story.
The first hive story I read was that of @dragosroua after reading I felt like writing my own hive story but I have not really gotten the opportunity and then I had the opportunity to come across that of @jongolson his writing inspired me a lot and today I read that of @themarkymark after reading his post I decided that today was the day to tell my hive story.

How long have you been on the Blockchain?

I have been on the blockchain for 9 months, I registered on the wonderful blockchain on 12-03-2021.

What was your background in Cryptocurrency when you first came to the blockchain?

I had no knowledge on crypto, the only thing I knew of crypto then was that it has been banned from my country and how I got to even hear the news was that I made a new friend @rufans who is into crypto currency and he was the one who also told me about hive.

What was your background in writing when you first came to the blockchain?

I had zero skills in writing, but when I joined the blockchain I tried my best to write a good post so I could build myself. So far I know my writing skills are improving.

How many people did you know when you first came to the Blockchain?

I knew only @rufans when I first came to the blockchain, then when I was always feeling reluctant to engage and grow, he would refer to his Nigerian friends on hive that also started like me and now are doing a lot better @josediccus and @emeka4. But now I’m happy I’m getting to know a few people.

How did you meet people when you first came to the Blockchain?

When I first came to the blockchain did not engage, I only wrote blindly 2-3times then I went off the grid, it was after some months I returned started engaging and meeting new people.

Who did you look up to when you first came to the blockchain?

Because of I was not active I did not really look up to anyone, after @rufans started guiding and gave me people to look up to, I started looking up to @josediccus, while I was exploring and I met @nainaztengra whose hive story I read yesterday, I have always loved her post and I’m wanting to be able to write like she does.

How would you describe your first three months on the blockchain?

I was not active so it’s was a waste and full of regrets.

Has being a part of the blockchain changed you in any way for the good?

Yes being a part of this blockchain has changed me financially and also it has made me understand crypto world and also understand that crypto is the way to the future. This blockchain has made me understand that I can achieve anything with patience, consistency and hard work.

What is your favorite memory from your time on the blockchain?

I favorite memory was when I got my first upvote from @ocdb which was when I participated on @theweekend contest. The upvote I received gave me the highest cents I ever got on hive and I was happy I earned that myself.

If you could give advice to a new person signing up to Hive what would it be?

If I could give an advice to a newbie, it will be that he/she should know that beginnings are always hard so is starting on hive, but with engagement, patience and hard work he or she will smile someday.

I will also love to say that he or she should not always think of upvote when they post because when you don’t get the upvote you expected, it makes you want to give up and it makes you feel invisible. Every newbie on hive is invisible at the beginning but with engagement you will be known.

And also they should not randomly comment on peoples post but to write comments with understanding Showing that they read the persons post.
