King Of Google - My Content Generates Traffic Daily

King Of Google

This is obviously a bold claim and I'm not the true king of google, but it's a catchy title. A somewhat accurate title as well, due to the traffic I generate with my content. Optimized content. I am talking about rankings and organic traffic. I had something different in mind at first, but when I stumbled upon these results, I just had to talk about it. I want you to understand how much potential there is with optimized content and even though I have talked about it multiple times in the past, and even though @forexbrokr does a terrific job as well optimizing content and describing how beneficial organic traffic is, and can be..

  • I want to share some details with you. Details that anyone can see for themselves.

I talked with @trumpman2 a couple of weeks back. He sent me a message and we talked about organic traffic and optimized content. I published an article afterwards that was called:

This article was based upon a list of keywords he sent me. Low comp and with search average as well. While I haven't really thought about making posts based upon the keywords he suggested, I gave it a shot. These types of posts are often somewhat awkward and messy to make because it's "only so much information" you can include and optimized content is always more "tricky" to write compared to posts you can write off the top of the head. It takes time and you need a plan of some sort.

Long story short, I published the article and a known user had something to say about it. You can read everything for yourself if you want too, but he basically didn't like the idea of me creating that type of article for various reasons. He couldn't take me seriously and he didn't like the rehashed information. He had a couple of very good points and even though I disagreed with some of the things he said, I told him that I would continue to produce original content instead.

Fast-forward 27 days and you can see this if you look at Simple Analytics. That's the traffic for 1 day. The organic traffic. The traffic from google. Five people who have made a search on google have looked at that article.

  • 5 people in 1 day.

Now, I know that it's not the final rankings on Google yet. It's way to early for that, but it has still pushed 5 people to LeoFinance.io and my article. That means Ad Revenue and potential new users. That was the purpose of the article. Exposure.

I admit that this could mean basically nothing for LeoFinance, Hive or any of us, except for the potential of some small Ad Revenue for the visits to LeoFinance.io, but this is what I am going to focus on.

You don't have to believe in organic traffic, optimized content or rankings. You don't have to believe in search results or any of that. I believe in it. I truly believe that optimized content can- and will change our future and the things I do speak for themselves. You can disagree with the content I produce, the approach I take or you can even dislike me as a person, author or whatever, but you can't take away the results.

I believe in social signals and real marketing. I believe we can- and will reach the masses if we focus more on the "Average Joe's". I bring something to the table with the things I do and I have proved that previously as well with articles ranking on top of google. It's all about exposure, marketing and the route we take.

I can't agree with everyone and there's nothing wrong with that, but the rather few people who actually believes in optimized content and the potential of organic, natural traffic doesn't need the "naysayers". You can just ignore the posts you don't like.

Going back to Simple Analytics again, but this time taking a look at twitter during the last 30 days. The article I published is there once again. This time with 37 page views. The combined ingredients of teamwork, optimized content and social signals are what brings people to my posts.

  • That is why it works.

I totally understand that I am talking about a total of 37+5 people, (maximum as they might actually have visit the page more than once), but that's still 37+5 visits because of one article I published. 37 people from Twitter and 5 people from Google went to "LeoFinance.io" because of me. Because of my article.

  • Imagine having 10 articles, 50 or 1000...

I have used a lot of them. Everything from free tools to SEMRush and Moz for everything related to SEO.

I actually don't use anything at all right now.

All of this adds up over time. Does it help when I want an article to reference that I google something like "X leofinance" or etc?

Not sure what you mean by that.. Do you mean when you search for something on Google?

If that's the case, it would only help in terms of finding leofinance articles. It doesn't improve rankings etc.

Yea I was talking about me searching the terms. You pretty much answered it so it means that the rankings are irrelevant of what people individually search for.

In terms of rankings yes. Google is personal though, so they use your search history and are likely to show results specific to you.

Can I just add my 2 cents on that little chat with @tarazkp on your how often should you buy and sell crypto blog.

While you dump your HIVE (tsk tsk tsk, naughty) and maybe aren't practising what you preach, that is not the point of this post.

We have to differentiate between opinion based diary posts and SEO plays.

I can totally see his point that this is unethical if you're not doing as you say, but the point of this post is purely to rank for the keyword on Google and to drive organic traffic.

A job that it's doing well.

As a follow on, hey @tarazkp I love reading your LeoFinance content.

You're one of the best writers in the community and I've had you on my autovoter for a while now.

Your diary style writing aimed at your followers is completely different to @hitmeasap's outward-facing content and both obviously have their place.

But just for reference, according to your organic traffic stats on Simple Analytics, you actually have 2 blogs that also drive ongoing organic traffic.

This 7 month old blog on whether you should hold HBD or not HBD and this 12 month old blog which answers how curation works on Hive.

By Googling will hive outperform hbd and how does curation work on hive, your posts both rank P2.

Pretty cool, right?

Now that you know these 2 are attracting ongoing eyeballs from people outside of the LeoFinance community, you should consider updating and adding to that exact post to make it more relevant.

This will consolidate your ranking and help people get up to date info when they first come to leofinance.io from the outside.

While you won't get any Hive rewards from editing a post from 12 months ago, it will help the community long term.

I've just published another article where I talk about the rewards we get from optimized content, and I've also included the traffic results from edicted, khal, taskmaster and myself due to your and other comments I recently read. Thanks for that. :)
