The statistics within this post is taken from Semrush, and as I happen to get a weekly report that is called: Organic Research: Positions, and as I am in favor of the whole optimized content thing, I figured I'd let you in on some juicy details.

This report contains:

  • Organic Search: Positions 1-10
  • Volume
  • CPC (USD)
  • Traffic %

Amongst some other things, but these are the ones I think is the most important. At least for now. I can also tell you that the Traffic cost has been an estimated price of $68 (up $4 from last week) for organic keywords in Google AdWords, but none of the top 10 keywords have used any CPC.

These are the 10 keywords that brings most traffic to LeoFinance.io, and each keyword point directly towards the article on LeoFinance as well. Feel free to take a look.

As we happen to have more and more people interested in SEO (search engine optimization), I might continue to publish this on a weekly basis.

Last weeks report can be found here:

I can also tell you that 435 keywords (378 previous week) is the number of keywords bringing users to the website via Google's top 100 organic search results.

Without access to the domain's Google Analytics, I started manually populating a Google Sheet to form the base for a content plan.

I'm just using June's traffic data in our Simple Analytics link, search volume data in Google Keyword Planner and seeing where we rank by manually searching in incognito.

Once the sheet is fully populated, we can see where the low hanging fruit sits (for example content on the top of page 2 that we can get onto page 1) and track the traffic boosts these optimisations can give.

If you or anyone else wants to request access and help populate the sheet, I'd love the help.

Hmm.. Not sure I fully understand what you mean. I might be too tired right now..

So you're manually checking all the pages to figure out which articles that currently sits on page 2 (on top of page 2)?

I might be able to help, but, as hitmeasap, I didn't fully understand what is the plan here. Can you explain it once again? :)

Love that LeoFinance also utilizes Simple Analytics - I've been a devout SA user for a year and a half now. Every single personal project and many of my client projects now run on it as well! :D

Wow, it is really fascinating to learn that most of these posts are over 6 months and some even a year!

There is really power in optimizing content, such authors really need to be continually rewarded by the Leofinance team(IMO) for their content because they bring constant organic traffic

That's the power of optimization. You get organic traffic for months or years because of something you did previously. It's really cool. :)

I love seo and it is kind of a shame that the top terms are useless to the community as a whole. I would like to see evergreen content about financial terms with a linking strategy.

Maybe a good test would be to take an old piece of content leofinance on a longtail crypto term or some other term and then pushing out tons of new content linking back to it.

Maybe a guide for people to take advantage of this new matic and cub thing. Then encourage new writers to produce content on the subject and link back to the original one.

I don't care about the monetary value of old content like others do.

Maybe a contest where leos go back and find some content they like and present that as the subject for a writing contest where the new posts link back to it. And then repeat on hive.

Hell, maybe the best use of our time would be to choose a hive onboarding tutorial. I still cant get people to sign up.

I saw contest and probably some whales will support it with votes.

(ps I took nyquil but if you are an seo you know what I'm getting at) Maybe I'll start the contest or we can do it together.

Inside or outside of the Hive blockchain?

The real keywords for Steem/Hive users: Money, money money. Outsiders may accidentally discover the Steem/Hive blockchain. I also discovered Steem this way on 2017.05.17. I searched for some GPU related thing (I do not remember exactly), and after I finished reading the article, I read the "come and earn money" notice at the bottom of the page, and then I have read that the name of the website is Steemit, and then I registered. And I am not going to lie. I have done this and still doing this for the money.

I remember "andrei jikh" being a very attractive keyword for @leofinance earlier. There is something about that keyword. Thank you for the report.
