Newbie Guide for 365 days of Splinterlands Airdrop (SPS)

Splinterlands has been one of the most popular Play2Earn games in crypto ecosystem. While the popularity of the game has been gradually increasing, the new era of Metaverse multiplied its popularity in a couple of days.

Both the demand on Play2Earn concept and the airdrop of SPS token pushed the attention on the game. Thanks to Splinterlands, Hive blockchain has been operating millions of transactions without any critical issue.

While the demand is increasing and we are posting about Splinterlands on Twitter, Noise Cash and several other platform, new players and people eager to start playing the game ask a lot about the SPS airdrop. I would like to share 2 simple strategies.

The first strategy is for those who have not started playing the game.
The second strategy is for those who are already receiving the airdrop.

Note: The former strategy does not require investment but it is less profitable, as well.

For those who have not started playing the game:

If you have not purchased the spellbook for $10 (which will be earned in a short time) but you want to receive airdrop and explore the world of Splinterlands.

Blogging + Providing Liquidity

Below you can see a sub-account of mine receiving some SPS token daily by collecting points from some of the airdrop options.

  • When we dive deeper into the way you can receive SPS airdrop, you can use Splintertalk to engage with people, post and comment on Splinterlands-based posts.

  • Tribaldex can be used to provide liquidity like I do. As you can see on the visuals, I receive airdrop points from my liquidity share on the pool. You can also use other pools on several options but this is one of the easiest and user-friendly way if you are not familiar with the mechanism.

NOTE: I want to emphasize the fact that Splinterlands is cheap to start playing to earn NFTs and tokens. With $10 initial investment, you can make decent amount of money while having fun. I'm volunteer to help you if you are confused about things.

As you can see above, we are missing out some juicy aspects to receive more points. Even though you can also buy the tokenized forms of some packs, I do not think you would do without having a Spellbook. That's why, Liquidity farming + Blogging on #Splintertalk are two major points without playing the game.

For those who are active players

This part of the post will be mostly based on a discussion among the Splinterland players. While reading the whitepaper, I had some ideas wandering in my mind. It's time to discuss things 😌

Here we will be focusing on the effective ways of using DEC that we own.

Option 1: Holding Liquid DEC & Trading to increase the number of tokens

This option is for those who want to trade DEC (as there is no transaction fee on Hive 🤤) and increase the liquid tokens. If possible, a person can both earn by playing and increase the number by trading.

Option 2: Providing Liquidity for x2 Points

I think it sounds logical if you have some idle SwapHive; BNB etc. By providing liquidity, your score you can get from DEC doubles. The point will be the impairment loss (if there will be) but it is not a sure thing, though.

Option 3: Buying AZMARE DICE Pack with DEC

Liquid DEC gives you 3000 points while the pack gives you 900 for each day. Here you may open the pack if you feel lucky 😅 or you can hold it for 900 points.

If you open the pack, you will get Collection Power + Card Hodling (5 points). For those who are superlucky, it can be sound idea 😄 (Not for me, though 😪)

Using other cryptocurrencies, buying Packs from the market to get points

The packs are hot and expensive guys. This idea sounds nice in theory but, in practice, you may not afford to buying them. Thus, it's better to focus more on the use of DEC.

Weekly Challenges, Splintertalk and Posh

These are the other options that are about the game and effective for the airdrop, as well. By earning SPT token, you can get 1 point for 4 SPT hodling. Besides, #Posh feature helps you get some posh token that you may exchange for SPT.

My Point of View

Honestly speaking, sometimes Splinterlands makes me consider resigning my job to go fully for crypto 😄 It's a great feeling to be a blockchain-gaming addicted who is having fun and earning thanks to Splinterlands.

Some people may not want to pay for $10 to start their Splinterlands journey. There are some ways that I mentioned above. However, one should also consider that the cheapest NFT in the market is about 20 cents. Besides, players earn from wins, daily quests and airdrops. Long story short, it's easy to make 10 bucks😅 You can learn from us by asking on Splintertalk or from any platfrom you wish to contact.

Over the part of active players, I wanted to share my ideas over the options of airdrop points. If you have different ideas, please enlighten us!
I'm sure there are genius guys who are going to make us shocked 😎

Another nice way to gather rewards to get into the game is by following the Splinterlands official account on Hive and participating in the weekly contests and content creating exercises. Card rentals also come in cheap and they help to rise up in rank quickly without owning the cards and increase in ranks means more season and daily rewards.

Absolutely mate! The rank can also be quite useful to collect more rewards + airdrop points.

I think I should check the rentals more often 😄

Thanks for the information. I just started playing about a month ago so have very few splinterland assets. The above options will give me more ways to increase my holdings without spending tons of money. thanks again.

Congratulations @idiosyncratic1! You received a personal badge!

You powered-up at least 10 HIVE on Hive Power Up Day! This entitles you to a level 1 badge.
Participate in the next Power Up Day and try to power-up more HIVE to get a bigger Power-Bee.
May the Hive Power be with you!

You can view your badges on your board and compare yourself to others in the Ranking

Hi! This is my first ever post/reply using my Hive account.

Tribaldex can be used to provide liquidity like I do. As you can see on the visuals, I receive airdrop points from my liquidity share on the pool.

Could you please elaborate what I need to do exactly in Tribaldex? Do I need to provide liquidity to DEC:SPS? Many thanks!

Great write up, I do think the pizza:dec diesel pool isn't eligible for the airdrop, tech support actually told me it's BSC and ETH LP's only.. can you confirm these points are from diesel pools or did you have a mix of different LP's?

I know this post is from July, but if you get this reply... I just got myself a spell book but I understand close to nothing about the game!!! And less about airdrops. Would love some help 🤠. I'll checkout splintertalk now!
