Empty Shelves: The Online Copper Bullion Market is Sold Out

Meanwhile... Copper is Almost Completely Sold Out Online

While so much attention is on silver and gold, the copper market is going nuts. It's tricky to find any copper bullion outside of hording old pennies or buying amateur pours on Ebay (which have their own appeal). Even then you'll pay a premium.

Sold out. Yes, I see the JB round... he's sold out too!

One in stock! Buffalo Rounds, $30 / lb

Sold out.

It's almost a joke! Copper is $4.00 /lb? Really?

Given the current real world prices, the actual value of copper bullion is between $20 - $30 / lb

That is 5x - 8x the supposed price per pound found on COMEX

Sleepy Joe Copper Communist Token $32/lb

image.png

What an insult. One of the only copper round that is easy to get a hold of is the "Biden Build Back Better" Communism tribute token. Each one sells for $2.00 /oz ($32/lb), quite a major premium over the alleged value of copper.

How About EBay?

Savvy Ebayers know, they are melting down their copper wire and selling at 5 - 10X the kitco copper price. Better, but not bullion. I like homemade pours, but they're often not 100% pure.

This one is $16.50 / lb, better price than most.

What About Copper Pennies? $0.21 each?

US copper pennies contain 0.0065136 lbs of copper each... at $32/lb each penny is worth almost $0.21 each in copper melt value. Is this for real? Should we be stocking up on copper pennies???

Buy Copper Pennies for $2.67 / lb

Hmmm, copper pennies $2.67 / LB, that's cheaper than "spot" price!

image.png

What do you think? Should we all be stocking up on copper pennies?

Teach Your Children Liberty from Sin

We encourage parents to teach their children principles of Godliness, beginning with the Word and an understanding who God is and what His Son has done to form a relationship with us.

No one can lay a foundation other than the one already laid, which is Jesus Christ. If anyone builds on this foundation using gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, or straw, his workmanship will be evident, because the Day will bring it to light. It will be revealed with fire, and the fire will prove the quality of each man’s work. 1 Corinthians 3:11-13

Teach Your children Liberty from Tyranny

Second to this is the principle of self-determination and freedom, lest we loose the ability to teach our children the first principle in future generations. Our children read the Tuttle Twin books, specifically to learn libertarian principles, which most people learn later in life. These books are useful for our family, and yours, to teach children concepts that seem complicated, but are made simple in these books.

There's only 1 form of copper I stack... and it's copper jacket 7.62. pennies are good. But if a fella wants copper, then why not pipes and wire? Grounding wire is way cheaper than "copper bullion".

Cheers @ironshield! Stack on!

I looked up grounding wire. This is about 25lbs copper @ $7.84 per lb. Maybe it can be picked up cheaper somewere else, this is home depot. I know copper plumbing has become expensive these days too.

I have kept the majority of my Canadian copper pennies for years prior to their Demonetization by 2013. Culling out the copper plated zinc ones still yielded me over ten pounds of copper coinage. No brainer as I figure they will become useful as money again for the commodity metal.

That's a great idea, holding on to copper pennies. Who knows what they will be worth in the future!

Thanks again for the report, @ironshield. As for copper, a USA Five Cents Nickel (75% copper & 25% nickel content) today, has a melt value of $.055.
