JP Morgan says older investors prefer gold while younger investors prefer bitcoin

I think we knew this long before JP Morgan did, but kudos to them for finally figuring it out.

They put out a piece recently saying that older investors prefer gold as a store of value while younger investors prefer bitcoin as a store of value.

Here's the way I look at it.

My grandparents will own gold but never bitcoin.

My parents will own gold and bitcoin.

My kids will own bitcoin but never gold.

Within 3 generations gold ownership will be all but extinct.
